Sonatas, duos and fantasies by Franz Schubert includes all works for solo piano by Franz Schubert, except separate dances. It also includes a number of works for two players: piano four hands, or piano and a string instrument (violin, arpeggione).

D. E. R. Watt

Donald Elmslie Robertson Watt FRSE (15 August 1926–18 April 2004) was a Scottish historian and Professor Emeritus at St Andrews University.

Donald Watt was the son of Theodore Watt, managing director of the Aberdeen University Press. Watt studied at Aberdeen Grammar School, before reading history at Aberdeen University. He graduated in 1950, and moved to Oriel College, Oxford, receiving his D. Phil in 1957.

Watt taught history at St Andrews University for his entire career, excepting a year's study at Columbia University. He worked for many years on editing and translating a nine volume edition, the first since 1759, of Abbot Walter Bower's Scotichronicon, a key resource for Scotland in the Late Middle Ages. Professor Watt also published on the Scottish church where he was the acknowledged expert on sources, holding the chair in Scottish Church History at St Andrews.

He worked for the publication of the Atlas of Scottish History, issued by Edinburgh University in 1975 and again, with revisions, in 1995. He served as co-editor of the Scottish Historical Review for eight years, and as president of the Scottish History Society for four.

Asiarunner

The Siemens Asiarunner locomotives are contemporaries to the Eurorunner class and are designed specifically for the South-East Asian market - in particular metre gauge - key features are a Co'Co' wheel arrangement (resulting in low axle loads) and good clearance (see Loading gauge)

Development

Much of the development of the Asiarunner locomotive had to be done from scratch, since Siemens had no contemporary example of a narrow gauge, or of a locomotive that was built to a smaller loading gauge that UIC 505-1.

Nevertheless, the design mirrors in part the modular concept found in Siemens other locomotives (the Eurosprinter and Eurorunner). The main frame is one such module. The drivers cabins are also modular components.

Access to the main engine compartment is via the roof, which has three removable segments, there is a single side corridor which allows an escape route in the event of certain emergencies (compare the wide gauge Eurorunners which have two passageways)

The engine is a 12-cylinder MTU model - similar to that used in the Eurorunner except with 12 instead of 16 cylinders.

Nikon D800

The Nikon D800 is a 36.3-megapixel professional-grade full-frame digital single-lens reflex camera produced by Nikon Corporation. It was given a Gold Award by Digital Photography Review.

It was officially announced on February 7, 2012 and went on sale in late March 2012 for the suggested retail price of $2999.95 in the U.S., £2399 in the UK, and €2892 in the Eurozone. Shortly after the camera went on sale, Nikon's UK subsidiary increased the price of the D800 in that market by £200 to £2599, saying that the original price was due to an "internal systems error". However, Nikon honored the original price for all pre-orders placed before March 24, and added that no price changes would be made in other markets.

The successor is the Nikon D810 - announced June 26, 2014.

D19E

The D19E, also known as Đổi mới, is a series of diesel locomotives currently used on the Vietnamese railway network.

History

The series is one of the most recently acquired by state railway company Vietnam Railways; 40 were in service as of 2005, 80 in 2012. The series, of the diesel electric type China Railways CKD7F, was constructed by Chinese manufacturer CSR Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd..

No. 901 to 920 (built 2003—2004) and 921 to 940 (built 2006—2007) have a more angular body. No. 941 to 960 (built 2007—2008) were built with a rounded front; in No. 961 to 980 (built 2011—2012) the windows and headlights were modified and the front air intake omitted. From No. 941 the final assembly took place at the Gia Lâm works of Vietnam Railways.

Accidents and incidents

On 10 March 2015 locomotive №968 was written off in an accident near Dien Sanh when it was in collision with a lorry on a level crossing.
