Deutsch-Österreichisches Feingefühl

DÖF (Deutsch-Österreichisches Feingefühl), (German-Austrian sensitivity), was a 1980s Austrian-German Neue Deutsche Welle pop band.

It consisted of the Austrian comedians Joesi Prokopetz and Manfred O. "Fredi" Tauchen, and the German new wave music artists Annette Humpe and Inga Humpe. DÖF released only a few songs, which were a mixture of Standard German and Viennese dialect.

Of it the most well-known are on the 1983 LP "DÖF", which sold over 500,000 copies in the German linguistic region.

The band's singles were "Codo", "Taxi" (both 1983), and "Uh-uh-uh mir bleibt die Luft weg" (1984). After only a few years, the band members went their own ways.

"Codo"

Codo (shortened from "Cosmic Dolm"), which is most remembered for its catchy refrain Und ich düse-düse-düse im Sauseschritt, was a major hit in Europe, becoming number one of the charts in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The song sold over a million copies, staying at number 1 in the charts for five weeks in Germany. A recording was made in Yinglish language, Cojdoj the flying Schissel, published as B-side of the single "Love Me".

Avenue D (band)

Avenue D was an American electroclash duo from Miami, Florida. Based in New York City, the duo consisted of Debbie D. (Debbie Attias) and Daphne D. (Daphne Gomez-Mena). They were protégés of Larry Tee, and performed for his parties. Their music is an energetic, humorous and sexually explicit mix of hip hop, electro, and new wave.

History

Avenue D formed in 2001, as part of New York's electroclash scene, which also included artists such as Fischerspooner, ADULT., and Felix da Housecat. Their songs were inspired by new wave music and 2 Live Crew. Groups including W.I.T. and My Robot Friend were part of the lineup along with Avenue D in April 2003 at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, California, and subsequently at the Henry Fonda Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.Boy George appeared onstage with Avenue D at a July 2004 party "Disgraceland" hosted by Larry Tee. Avenue D played at Churchill's in Miami, Florida in July 2004, along with 10 Sheen and DJ Lahora. They performed at clubs Wave Waikiki and Pussycat Lounge in Honolulu, Hawaii in November 2004. In 2005, they scored a moderate hit with "Do I Look Like a Slut?" on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. The same year, their song "Orgasmatron" was featured prominently in Eon McKai's alt porn film Neu Wave Hookers. The band was also politically active, and played rallies and benefits for causes such as gay marriage.

Mexico City

Mexico City (Spanish: Ciudad de México  audio  American Spanish: [sjuˈða(ð) ðe ˈméxiko]; abbreviated as "CDMX") is the capital of Mexico. Mexico City is the country's largest city as well as its most important political, cultural, educational and financial center.

As an "alpha" global city Mexico City is one of the most important financial centers in the Americas. It is located in the Valley of Mexico (Valle de México), a large valley in the high plateaus at the center of Mexico, at an altitude of 2,240 metres (7,350 ft). The city consists of sixteen municipalities (previously called boroughs).

The 2009 estimated population for the city proper was around 8.84 million people, with a land area of 1,485 square kilometres (573 sq mi). According to the most recent definition agreed upon by the federal and state governments, the Greater Mexico City population is 21.2 million people, making it the largest metropolitan area in the western hemisphere, the eleventh-largest agglomeration, and the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world.

Systematic name

A systematic name is a name given in a systematic way to one unique group, organism, object or chemical substance, out of a specific population or collection. Systematic names are usually part of a nomenclature.

A semisystematic name or semitrivial name is a name that has at least one systematic part and at least one trivial part.

Creating systematic names can be as simple as assigning a prefix or a number to each object (in which case they are a type of numbering scheme), or as complex as encoding the complete structure of the object in the name. Many systems combine some information about the named object with an extra sequence number to make it into a unique identifier.

Systematic names often co-exist with earlier common names assigned before the creation of any systematic naming system. For example, many common chemicals are still referred to by their common or trivial names, even by chemists.

Caterpillar D7

The Caterpillar D7 is a medium bulldozer manufactured by Caterpillar Inc.. The first D7 appeared in 1938. The D7C came next in 1955. The D7D came in 1959. The 160 hp D7E in 1961. The 180 hp D7F 1969.The 200 hp D7G in 1974.The 215 hp in 1986.The D7H was the first D7 to come with the exclusive elevated drive sprocket undercarriage.The D7R replaced the D7H in 1996 with the current D7R Series 2 replacing that.

In March 2008, at Conexpo 2008 held every 3 years in Las Vegas, Caterpillar introduced the D7E. This 235 hp D7E comes with an electric drive system powered by a 537cid C9.3 diesel engine. The C9.3 powers a generator that turns out electricity that will supply power to a pair of AC drive motors. Compared to the Caterpillar D7R Series II, the D7E is projected to deliver 25 percent more material moved per gallon of fuel, 10 percent greater productivity and 10 percent lower lifetime operating costs.

The D7R Series II at 240 hp power and an operating weight of 25 tons, is in the middle of Caterpillar's track-type tractors, which range in size from the D3 57 kW (77 hp), 7 t (8 short tons), to the D11 698 kW (935 hp), 112 t (124 short tons). It is primarily used to move material short distances or through challenging terrain. The vehicle is powerful, yet small and light 16 to 20 t (18 to 23 short tons) depending on configuration). This makes it ideal for working on very steep slopes, in forests, and for backfilling pipelines safely without risking damage to the pipe.
