Cyberman
The Cybermen are a fictional race of cyborgs who are among the most persistent enemies of the Doctor in the British science fiction television programme, Doctor Who. Within the context of the series, the Cybermen were originally a wholly organic species of humanoids originating on Earth's twin planet Mondas that began to implant more and more artificial parts into their bodies as a means of self-preservation. This led to the race becoming coldly logical and calculating, with every emotion deleted from their minds.
They were created by Dr. Kit Pedler (the unofficial scientific advisor to the show) and Gerry Davis in 1966, first appearing in the serial The Tenth Planet. They were featured numerous times, up until the show's cancellation.
Following the 2005 revival of the show, the Cybermen returned with a new origin story in a parallel universe, in the 2006 series' two-parter "Rise of the Cybermen" and "The Age of Steel", and have been recurring villains again ever since. A further redesign took place in the 2013 episode "Nightmare in Silver", showing technologically advanced Cybermen with the same origins as in the original series, depicted as being able to instantly upgrade themselves to fix flaws and weaknesses.
Cyberman (film)
Cyberman is a 2001 documentary film about Steve Mann, inventor of the EyeTap. It was directed by Peter Lynch, but much of the material in the film was also shot by Mann himself, through his EyeTap. Thus Cyberman may well have been the first film in which the subject incidentally or existentially (i.e. just by being himself) shot much of the material used in the film.
The book, Cyborg... was released the same year, and much of the material in the film is based on material in an early draft of the book's manuscript.
Novelist William Gibson appears in the film, in conjunction with Mann's presentation at the TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) conference. Mann and Gibson were both presenters at TED, and the interview takes place immediately following their presentations at the conference.

Cyberman (audio drama series)
Cyberman is a series of Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series, Doctor Who. Eight audio plays were produced in 2 series of 4 CDs. The series takes place during a fictional time in the Doctor Who universe known as the Orion Wars. During the Orion Wars, humanity is at war with androids who no longer wish to be under human control. The center of the action is Project Scorpius, a "military project gone dark, off the books."
The series is produced by Nicholas Briggs and Big Finish Managing Director Jason Haigh-Ellery.

Series 1 consists of 4 episodes. All 4 episodes were written and directed by Nicholas Briggs and released in 2005.
