Cruisin' (album)
Cruisin' is the third studio album by the American disco group Village People, released on September 25, 1978. Its name carries a double meaning: it may mean just driving around or gay cruising. This became obvious even for straight audiences in 1980, when William Friedkin's movie Cruising was released. Features the hits "Hot Cop" and "Y.M.C.A." which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Cruisin' (sampler series)
Cruisin' was an American Rock-and-Roll and pop music sampler series covering the years 1955-1970 released by Increase Records, originally in 1970 on vinyl (Years 1955 to 1963, with later years being released in the 1980s, and in 1993 on CD and audio cassette. The covers were stylized after the works of pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.
Each album of the series purported to be an authentic roughly 40-minutes recording of a contemporary radio station from that year, complete with contemporary ads, station jingles, and a radio DJ from that era introducing each song, reading out local news, and inviting the listeners to join in competitions.

List of Rocko's Modern Life episodes
The following is an episode list for the Nickelodeon animated television series Rocko's Modern Life. The series began on September 18, 1993, and ended on November 24, 1996, totalling 52 episodes. A typical, half-hour episode of Rocko's Modern Life featured two twelve-minute stories with a commercial break in between. Occasionally, one story would be told over the half-hour time slot as Part I and Part II.
The Rocko's Modern Life team produced all of the episodes except for one in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California, United States. Series creator Joe Murray produced the pilot episode, "Trash-O-Madness", at his studio in Saratoga, California; Murray animated half of the episode, and the production occurred entirely in the United States, with animation in Saratoga and processing in San Francisco.

Cruisin' (Michael Nesmith song)
Cruisin', aka Lucy and Ramona and Sunset Sam, is the last single to date released by Michael Nesmith as a solo artist. The song was released in 1979 under Pacific Arts (PAC 108) from the album Infinite Rider on the Big Dogma. The B-side of the single was Carioca. Cruisin' tells the story of three individuals who live on the streets of Los Angeles and are related by their lifestyle.
A promotional video was made for Cruisin' and was released on Nesmith's Elephant Parts. Contrary to popular belief, the video did not debut Hulk Hogan, but rather, featured wrestler Steve Strong who resembles a young Hulk Hogan. Nesmith mistakenly stated in 1989 that Hogan played the role, but he corrected his statement in 2003.
Although it did not chart in the USA, it peaked at #6 on the New Zealand singles chart.

"Cruisin'" is a 1979 single written, produced, and recorded by Smokey Robinson for Motown Records' Tamla label. One of Robinson's most successful singles outside of his work with The Miracles, "Cruisin'" hit #1 on the U.S. Cash Box Top 100 and was also a major Billboard Pop hit, peaking at #4. It was a Top Five hit on the Soul chart as well.
The song was co-written by fellow Miracle Marv Tarplin . "Cruisin'" was an even bigger hit in New Zealand, hitting #1 on that country's chart. It is included on Robinson's ninth studio album, Where There's Smoke....

D'Angelo version
Neo soul musician D'Angelo recorded a cover of the song for his 1995 album Brown Sugar. The cover was released as the album's second single on October 12, 1995 and was commercially successful charting within the top ten of the US R&B charts. the album reached sales of 500,000 copies in the United States by October 1995. This version appeared in the third episode of the UPN sitcom, Moesha in 1996.
