Nymanbolagen

Nymanbolagen (aka Nymans AB or just Nymans) was a Swedish bicycle, moped, and motorcycle manufacturing company in Uppsala, Sweden.

In 1947 Nymans Verkstäder in Uppsala, Lindblads Verkstäder (Amerikansk Cycleimport) in Stockholm and some minor bicycle companies, formed Nymanbolagen AB, situated in Uppsala, Sweden.

Nymans also manufactured small two cycle outboard boat engines.

In 1961 Nymanbolagen merged with the bicycle company Monark AB in Varberg, Sweden into Monark-Crescentbolagen or MCB. Later all production took place in Varberg.

The factory in Varberg is now owned by Grimaldi Industri AB via its bicycle company Cycleurope, also producing Bianchi, Gitane, Puch and some other brands.

Crescent (John Coltrane album)

Crescent is a 1964 studio album by jazz musician John Coltrane, released by Impulse! as A-66. Alongside Coltrane on tenor saxophone, the album features McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (double bass) and Elvin Jones (drums) playing original Coltrane compositions.

Coltrane does not solo at all on side two of the original LP; the ballad "Lonnie's Lament" instead features a long bass solo by Garrison. The album's closing track is an improvisational feature for Jones (with spare melodic accompaniment from Coltrane's tenor sax and Garrison's bass at the song's beginning and end): Coltrane continued to explore drum/saxophone duets in live performances with this group and on subsequent recordings such as the posthumously released Interstellar Space (with Rashied Ali).

Recording and production

The quartet went into Rudy Van Gelder's studio on April 27, 1964, and performed all five of the songs on this album as well as a short version of "Song of Praise"—which was recut in May 1965 and compiled on The John Coltrane Quartet Plays. They returned to the studio on June 1, 1964, and recorded versions of the title track and "Bessie's Blues", which ended up on the album. The three rejected recordings from April 27 are compiled on The Classic Quartet: The Complete Impulse! Recordings.

Crescent (Gackt album)

Crescent is the fourth full-length studio album released by Japanese solo artist Gackt on December 3, 2003. It is conceptually linked to its predecessor Moon and comes with booklets for both records (Moon did not originally contain one). Crescent also features a duet with L'Arc-en-Ciel vocalist Hyde for "Orenji no Taiyou" with whom Gackt co-starred in the 2003 movie Moon Child.

The album is seen as a turning point in Gackt's career. An lyrically emotional and musically varied record, it is often seen as Gackt's strongest release and when he finally mastered his style of poetically romantic lyrics set against an artsy rock music background.

Release

The album was released on December 3, 2003, by Nippon Crown. In the third counting week of December it reached number five on the Oricon charts, with sales of 75,561 copies. It charted for 11 weeks. Since its release the album has sold more than 250,000 copies, being not certified Gold due to change of criteria, but Platinum by the RIAJ.

Vivid (Ailee album)

Vivid is the first full-length studio album by South Korean singer Ailee. It was released on September 30, 2015 by YMC Entertainment.

Background and release

On September 21, 2015, it was revealed that Ailee will release her first full album on September 30, entitled Vivid. Her title track for the album is "Mind Your Own Business". On September 22, the first music video teaser for "Mind Your Own Business" was released. On September 24, 2015, Ailee released her album Vivid 's tracklist and album jacket cover.

Promotions

Ailee made her 'comeback stage' on M! Countdown on October 1, following performances on Music Bank, Show! Music Core and Inkigayo. Besides "Mind Your Own Business", she performed the tracks, "Insane" and "Why Are People Like This". She won her first trophy for this promotion in Show Champion on October 7, 2015.

Vivid (Vivian Green album)

Vivid is the fifth studio album by American contemporary R&B singer Vivian Green, released August 7, 2015. It is Green's first album released on Kwamé's record label Make Noise Records (which is distributed via Caroline Records); and was produced by Kwamé. As of November 2015, the album has not charted on the Billboard 200 but has reached #10 on the Billboard R&B chart.

The album's first single is "Get Right Back to My Baby", which has reached number eight on the U.S. Adult R&B chart.

Critical reception

The album has received positive reviews. Andy Kellman of AllMusic rated the album four out of five stars and called Green's vibe on the album "confident and comfortable". BrentMusicReviews.com called the album "a fine collection" and "a welcome R&B effort".
