Adl (family)

The origin of the modern family name Adl or Adle is from the titles of nobility given to Iranian jurists at the end of the 19th century, that were related by family ties. Notably, these jurists included Hajj Mirza Hossein (also known as Hossein Shah) whose title was Adl-ol-molk (Justice of the Kingdom), Seid Mirza Ebrahim Khalil whose title was Rokn-ol-edaleh (Pillar of Justice), and Mirza Mostafa Khan Adl whose title was Mansoor-ol-saltaneh (the Victorious of the Empire). The latter, Mostafa Adl, drafted Iran's modern civil code (hoghough-e-madani) shortly after the Iranian Revolution of 1903–1905, which was enacted by the then parliament and is still being used today by the present regime.

A podcast of the breakfast show is uploaded daily onto the Nova website and onto iTunes and lasts for about 18 minutes, showcasing the best bits of interviews and segments of the day.

Judges of Mega-City One

Agee

Psi-Judge Kit Agee was one of Justice Department's telepaths, and a friend of Judge Anderson. In 2112 she was abducted by Judge Kraken, who was being controlled by the Sisters of Death. The Sisters, who inhabited another dimension, used Agee to establish a psionic link to Earth, where they were able to seize control of Mega-City One, ultimately killing millions of people. On Anderson's advice, Judge Dredd killed Agee, severing the psychic link and banishing the Sisters back to their homeworld.

Alvarez

Judge Alvarez first appeared in 2000 AD prog 978, in the story "The Pit" – he is a corrupt judge who is killed by Dredd in prog 980.

He appears in the 2012 film Dredd, played by Edwin Perry.

Bennett

Judge Bennett was a recurring character in Al Ewing's Dredd strips. He first appeared as an adept and quick-thinking rookie, impressing Dredd during a crime swoop. He made 'full eagle' in 2130, and in early 2131 teamed up with Dredd to investigate murders caused by remote-controlled bullets. The pressure of the bizarre case caused him to suffer doubts but, after Dredd offered to take over and find him an "easier" job, Bennett refused, got past his doubts, and solved the case. Dredd was again impressed with him (but dumped all the paperwork on him anyway).

Creep (Mobb Deep song)

"Creep" is the fourth and final single by rap duo Mobb Deep, from their album Blood Money. The song features 50 Cent but the video accompanied with it was made and was not released. The B-side of the single is "It's Alright", featuring Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

Scope creep

Scope creep (also called requirement creep, function creep and feature creep) in project management refers to uncontrolled changes or continuous growth in a project’s scope. This can occur when the scope of a project is not properly defined, documented, or controlled. It is generally considered harmful.

If budget, resources, and schedule are increased along with the scope, the change is usually considered an acceptable addition to the project, and the term “scope creep” is not used.

Scope creep is a risk in most projects. Most megaprojects fall victim to scope creep (see Megaprojects and Risk). Scope creep often results in cost overrun. A value for free strategy is difficult to counteract and remains a difficult challenge for even the most experienced project managers.
