Cossano Belbo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Turin and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,068 and an area of 20.8 square kilometres (8.0 sq mi).
Cossano Belbo borders the following municipalities: Camo, Cessole, Loazzolo, Mango, Rocchetta Belbo, Santo Stefano Belbo, and Vesime.
The Belbo is a river of southern Piedmont, Italy. It is a right-side tributary of the Tanaro.
The Belbo rises in the Langhe, on the borders between Piedmont and Liguria in the hills of Montezemolo. After flowing through the Piedmontese provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria, the river joins the Tanaro from the right at Villa del Foro, in the comune of Alessandria.
