Consequence may refer to:
Dexter Raymond Mills, Jr., (born June 14, 1977) better known by his stage name Consequence, is an American hip hop recording artist from Queens, New York City, New York. Consequence debuted in 1996, appearing several times on A Tribe Called Quest's fourth album Beats, Rhymes, and Life. In March 2007, he released his debut album Don't Quit Your Day Job!, under Columbia Records and Kanye West's GOOD Music. Consequence left GOOD Music in 2011, on bad terms, after being signed with the label since 2005. He and West later reconciled, despite Consequence speaking ill of West. Consequence subsequently launched his own record label, Band Camp Records, following his departure from GOOD Music.
Consequence is an album by American saxophonist Jackie McLean recorded in 1965, but not released on Blue Note until 1979 as LT-994. In 1993, it was released as part of the four-disc Mosaic compilation The Complete Blue Note 1964-66 Jackie McLean Sessions, which was limited to 5,000 copies. In 2005, it was finally released on a limited edition CD as Blue Note 11428.
The Allmusic review by Thom Jurek awarded the album 3½ stars and stated: "The music here is much more straight-ahead than on other McLean dates from the 1960s.... This is a welcome addition to the McLean catalog on disc."
Ashbury may refer to:
Ashbury was an Alternative rock band from Las Vegas. The members were vocalist Brian Lee, Bassist and back-up vocalist Jeremy Lee, guitarist Joey Resly, guitarist Lenny Lujan, and drummer Patrick Martens. They released four studio albums. The band broke up in 2009.
The band found success when they won both a local and the subsequent national "Have a Nice Gig" contest that Bon Jovi put on in 2006. After initially playing with Bon Jovi at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Jon Bon Jovi personally invited Ashbury to open for Bon Jovi's July 19, 2006 show at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. A Las Vegas CBS radio station, Mix 94.1, put Ashbury on their rotation, where they were the most requested group for three weeks in a row. They also licensed the majority of their album "Complacency" to MTV, with their song "Come On" debuting on "The Hills" reality show in late 2006. They performed on national television for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon in 2006 and 2008.
