Conghua District, is a district of Guangzhou in central Guangdong province, People's Republic of China. Conghua connects the Pearl River Delta with the mountainous area in the North of Guangdong province. It is known for hot springs and lychees. On 12 February 2014, It was upgraded from a county-level city to a district under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou.
It covers an area of 1,984 km2 (766 sq mi), with a population of 600,000. Its GDP is RMB10.369 billion (US$2,360 per person).
