Como Ama una Mujer

Como Ama una Mujer (English: How a Woman Loves) is the fifth studio album by American entertainer Jennifer Lopez. It was released on March 23, 2007 by Epic Records. The album received generally mixed to poor reviews, critics deemed this album vocally inferior to her previous ones, whilst others questioned a lack of highlights within Como Ama una Mujer.

Inspiration and development

Plans for Lopez to release a Spanish-language album materialized in 2004, when Lopez's then-husband Marc Anthony was finishing up production of his ninth studio album Amar Sin Mentiras (2004) with Estéfano and Julio Reyes. Lopez went into the recording studio with them to record a song entitled "Escapémonos", as a duet with Anthony. She enjoyed working on the song so much that she decided to record a full-length Spanish album; something she had wanted to do for years. Prior to breaking out into the music scene in May 1999 with her single "If You Had My Love", Lopez always pictured her music career to be in Spanish. According to Lopez: "My life took a different turn, which was great for me. But my heart was always kind of on the Spanish side." Before recording began for her first Spanish album, Lopez recorded and released her fourth English studio album Rebirth (2005).

Jennifer Lopez Presents: Como Ama una Mujer, simply referred to as Como Ama una Mujer, is an American five-part miniseries based on the lyrics from the Jennifer Lopez album of the same name. It aired on the Univision Television Network in the fall of 2007. At the end of each episode, Lopez performs the theme song that inspired that episode. The five episodes were released as a two disc DVD set on December 18, 2007 in the United States.

Una Mujer (A Woman) is the first studio album with new unreleased songs of Myriam. Before the success her debut album was a lot of composer got interested in sending songs for Myriam. Soraya, Mr. Manzanero, Claudia Brant are some of the writers that participated in this album. It was released in March 2003, the album broke all the records and expectecions everyone had.

The album includes 11 unreleased songs and the remix of the song "The Rose", song that give her the 1st place on the reality. The album's genre was Latin ballad/pop. When the album was released it reach the peak of the tops in Mexico and USA. At the month the album was released it was certificated as platinum for selling more than 150,000 copies i MEX.

The album was recorded in the a studio in Mexico City, produced by Memo Gil. Also is important to mention that Gaby Cardenas who was her teacher in the reality collaborate in the album, guiding Myriam in the vocal plane.

Como (Italian pronunciation: [ˈkɔːmo],locally: [ˈkoːmo];Lombard: Còmm; Latin: Novum Comum) is a city and comune in Lombardy, Italy. It is the administrative capital of the Province of Como.

The new brand name Como was originally Conduit Mobile. The company started in 2005 in Israel and reinvented itself in 2013, spinning off the website toolbar business that made it the largest Israeli Internet company at the time.

Products

The company's main product is Como, a mobile development platform that allows users to create native and web mobile applications for smartphones. About one million apps have been created, reaching about ten million daily visitors as of June 2014. App creation for its App Gallery is free and it charges a monthly subscription fee to place apps on the Apple Store or Google Play.

The company sold its Conduit website toolbar product in 2013 and no longer offers toolbars, the business that initially brought it to prominence.

History

Conduit was founded in 2005 by Shilo, Dror Erez, and Gaby Bilcyzk. Between years 2005 and 2013, it run a successful but controversial toolbar platform business (see main article Conduit toolbar).
