Coming Back Down

"Coming Back Down" is a song by American rock band Hollywood Undead, the third single from their second full-length album, American Tragedy, and the tenth track on that album. It is the band's ninth overall single in their discography. The track was released as a promotional single and free download on the band's official website on January 11, 2011. It was later released as a single on March 15, along with another single, "Been to Hell". A remix was featured on the band's American Tragedy Redux remix album.

Background

The track was initially sent to radio stations on February 24, 2011, as a promotional single for their second album, American Tragedy. The unofficial track was soon leaked afterwards, with rumors of Kevin Rudolf being a featured artist. It was later revealed Rudolf was a producer for the track along with Jacob Kasher and Jeff Halavacs, with Don Gilmore as executive producer. On March 15, the band released the song as the third official single following Hear Me Now, with Been to Hell also being released as a single the same day. As a video was shot for "Been to Hell", "Coming Back Down" has yet to receive a music video. Lyrically, "Coming Back Down" centers on the story of an unknown loved one who has recently died, with the narrator having difficulty trying to live without them. The chorus is sung by Danny, with the first verse being rapped by J-Dog and the second being rapped by Johnny 3 Tears. Johnny 3 Tears also sings the bridge.

Plot

On Friday at noon, 54 hours before the wedding, Ted and Lily begin checking into the Farhampton Inn. The man at the front desk (Roger Bart) is condescendingly sympathetic towards Ted when he reveals he is at the wedding alone. Lily learns from Marshall that he missed his earlier flight and heads to the bar intending to drown her sorrows, even paying the bartender, named Linus, to constantly place another drink in her hand once it's empty.

Dean Ray

Dean Pritchard, better known by his stage name Dean Ray, is an Australian singer and songwriter. In 2014, he was the runner-up on the sixth season of The X Factor Australia. Ray subsequently received a recording contract with Sony Music Australia and released his debut single "Coming Back", which debuted at number five on the ARIA Singles Chart. This was followed by the release of his self-titled debut album in November 2014, which debuted at number five on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association.

Early life

Dean Ray (born Dean Pritchard) is originally from Narromine, New South Wales. At the age of six, Ray and his family moved to Meandarra, Queensland. Ray comes from a musical family; his parents Chris and Angie had their own country band called Itchy Feet. Ray grew up travelling around Australia with his parents, and he would often sleep in guitar cases backstage at venues when his parents were on stage performing. Ray learnt how to play the drums when he was nine years old. At the age of 13, he learnt how to play the guitar and started writing his own songs. Ray and his brother, who played piano, were then recruited into their parents' band.

Get Rich or Die Tryin' is the debut studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It was released on February 4, 2003, by Aftermath Entertainment, under a joint venture with Shady Records, and distributed by Interscope Records. Its initially planned release was pushed seven days ahead due to heavy bootlegging and Internet leakage. The album was produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem, and featured guest appearances from Eminem and G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 872,000 copies in its first week. It generated four singles, including the number one hits "In da Club" and "21 Questions", and the international hit "P.I.M.P." By 2016, Get Rich or Die Tryin' sold 8.4 million copies in the United States and is certified 8× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
