Colleen D'Agostino

Colleen D'Agostino Moreaux, more commonly known as Colleen D'Agostino, is an American singer-songwriter from Simi Valley, California. In 2005, while attending San Diego State University she formed The Material. They released their first EP entitled Tomorrow on September 1, 2007. After six years recording and touring with The Material, Colleen started an electropop side project called With Beating Hearts. The first With Beating Hearts EP was released on October 11, 2011.

In 2013, Colleen was featured on a song called "Drop the Poptart" on Canadian producer deadmau5's Soundcloud. She was also the featured vocalist on "Seeya", the second single from deadmau5's Grammy- and Juno-nominated studio album while(1<2). "Seeya" has since gone platinum. in Canada, after Colleen and deadmau5 performed the song on the 2015 Juno Awards on March 15, 2015 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

After the success of her collaborations with deadmau5, Colleen was signed to the producer's imprint label, mau5trap. Her debut EP on mau5trap, Collide, was released on March 15, 2015. The "Drop the Poptart" demo was expanded and released as the first single from Collide as "Stay (featuring deadmau5)."

    Colleen is a 1936 Warner Bros. musical film directed by Alfred E. Green. It stars Dick Powell, Ruby Keeler, and Joan Blondell.

    Plot

    Colleen is the manager of a dress shop named "The Ames Company", owned by Donald Ames. They try to keep Uncle Cedric from working, because he'll ruin the company. Troubles start when he hires schemer Joe as his personal assistant. He later also hires Minnie, a woman who has a great passion for fashion. When he buys the dress shop for Minnie where Colleen works as a bookkeeper, a scandal is soon followed. Donald decides to shut the shop, but is stopped because of his infatuation towards Colleen. It is Colleen who eventually makes a profit out of the things that happened. Meanwhile, a man named Cedric tries to adopt Minnie. Minnie refuses and thereby causes a scandal. This angers Alicia, but the press can't get enough of it. Donald loses Colleen's affection and thus is sued by Joe.

    Colleen was a rowboat used on Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada in the late 1800s and early 1900s. She belonged to the Reverend Thomas Greene and served many early settlers and pioneers of the Okanagan, including W. D. Walker and Thomas Ellis, the earliest European settler in Penticton, British Columbia.
