Clint Patrick Black (born February 4, 1962) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist and occasional actor. Signed to RCA Nashville in 1989, Black's debut album Killin' Time produced five straight number one singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Although his momentum gradually slowed throughout the 1990s, Black consistently charted hit songs into the 2000s. He has had more than 30 singles on the US Billboard country charts, twenty-two of which have reached number one, in addition to having released nine studio albums and several compilation albums. In 2003, Black founded his own record label, Equity Music Group. Black has also ventured into acting, having made a cameo appearance in the 1994 film Maverick, as well as a starring role in 1998's Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.
Clint Patrick Black was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, the youngest of four children born to G.A. and Ann Black, and lived in nearby Red Bank. The family moved back to Texas, where G.A. Black had been raised, before Clint was one year old. He was raised in Katy, Texas. Music was always present in the house. Black taught himself to play harmonica before he was 13, and at 14 wrote his first song. His father remarked that it was at that age that the parents "first noticed that he had a great voice". By 15, Black had learned to play guitar. As a teenager Black joined his elder brothers, Mark, Kevin and Brian, in their small band. On Saturday afternoons, the family would host backyard barbecues and invite the neighborhood to listen to the boys sing. Some weekends would attract up to 70 people. Black eventually dropped out of high school to play with his brothers, before becoming a solo act.

Ten Love Songs is the sixth studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør. It was released on 16 February 2015. A European tour ensued on March 3, 2015. "Fade Away" was the first single released from the album. "Delirious" was released as the second single. For the album Sundfør collaborated with Anthony Gonzalez of M83, Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland of Röyksopp, Lars Horntveth and the Trondheimsolistene Chamber Ensemble. Sundfør described the album as an attempt to make a pop record. 'Ten Love Songs' and its lead single 'Fade Away' became a commercial success in Sundfør's home country both receiving a gold certification.
Sundfør said in an interview, "When I first started to work on the album, I wanted to make an album about violence, and then, as I was writing the songs, there were violent aspects, but they were usually about love or relationships, how you connect with other people. And in the end, that turned out to be 10 love songs."
The Love Songs is an album by Peter Hammill, originally released on Charisma Records in 1984.
The album is a compilation of ballads from Hammill's previous solo albums, re-recorded in new versions; all reworked, redubbed and remixed to form this album. The lead vocals were replaced on all tracks, except "Been Alone So Long". All tracks were based on the original multitracks, except "Again" and "If I Could", which are based on live K Group performances taken from the Margin Tour.
All songs written by Peter Hammill, except where indicated.
The Love Songs is a 2007 (see 2007 in music) album by country singer Clint Black. It consists of newly recorded versions of many of his love songs along with a cover version of Jim Croce's "I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song".
According to Black, many of the songs remain true to the original version while a few get a slight update. "I wanted to do a record that's not just a reissue of hits," Black said. "Sometimes when I go back and revisit my older recordings, I find little things that, in hindsight, I feel I could improve on just a bit—some new twist that might make it just a little bit better. It might be a slight change in the arrangement, or the way vocals are layered. And there were also times when I listened to a particular recording and felt there really wasn't a change that would make it better."
The album cover was designed by Peter Max and depicts Black with wife Lisa Hartman Black.

Well I know it’s kinda late, I hope I didn’t wake you
What I’ve got to say can’t wait, I know you’d understand
Every time I tried to tell you the words just came out wrong
So I’ll have to say I love you in a song
Yeah, I know it’s kinda strange, every time I’m near you
I just run out of things to say, I know you’d understand
Every time I tried to tell you the words just came out wrong
So I’ll have to say I love you in a song
Every time the time was right all the words just came out wrong
So I’ll have to say I love you in a song
Yeah, I know it’s kinda late, I hope I didn’t wake you
But there’s something that I just gotta say, I know you’d understand
Every time I tried to tell you the words just came out wrong
So I’ll have to say I love you in a song
