Clearlight or Clear Light may refer to:
Clearlight is a French progressive rock band from the 1970s, although their best known work was produced in England, and released by a major British record company. While progressive rock is an appropriate overall genre for the band, much of their work delves into other genres including psychedelic music, jam band music, symphonic rock, space rock, jazz fusion, and new-age music.
"Clearlight" consists of pianist and composer Cyrille Verdeaux alongside other musicians, who are usually guest participants with no compositional input, except on a couple of occasions, like the second album Forever Blowing Bubbles, where bassist Joël Dugrenot had virtual co-leader status, composing two of the tracks, or Visions, which prominently featured Didier Malherbe (formerly of Gong) and Didier Lockwood (formerly of Magma and Zao) as soloists.
In the mid to late 1970s the band was managed by Jacques Reland, now a lecturer at the London Metropolitan University and Head of European Research at the Global Policy Institute. The Rennes-born manager negotiated the band's first four album deals.
Clearlight is an instrumental stoner rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They are also known as The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight due to other bands using the same original name.
The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight was founded in 1996 as an instrumental side-project by members of New Orleans bands Eyehategod, Down and Crowbar. This project has allowed the members to explore music outside their native metal genre. After several years of shows in New Orleans with the occasional out-of-town show they recorded their self-titled debut album on Tee Pee Records in 2000. This was followed by The Father, the Son and the Holy Smoke, a 2001 split release with Acid King on Man's Ruin Records, featuring Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessed, Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, The Hidden Hand) on vocals. That same year they released a split 7" with The Obsessed that features both bands covering Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Mystick Krewe covers "Cheatin Woman" and features Pepper Keenan of Corrosion of Conformity on vocals. They have also been featured on compilations such as Inhale and High Volume: The Stoner Rock Collection.
Lover when you hold me
can't you feel what you have done
This body aches for relief
As if the only one
from your lips your soul I kiss
I feel your love through your finger tips
Oh lover lover, what have you done?
All of my love
Know that I ve bled
Oh so ceaselessly
Return all of my heart
Know that you ll be
Oh how you ll always be
From your lips your soul I kiss
Well I feel your love through your fingertips
Lover, lover, what have you done?
Well I love your lips your smile
I love to be between your thighs
Lover, lover, what you have done?
All of my love
Know that I ve bled
Oh so ceaselessly
Return all of my heart
All of my, all of my
All of my heart
All my love
know that I bleed
Oh so ceaselessly
Return all of my heart
All of my, all of my
All of my heart
All my love
All of my love
All my love
Know that I bleed I bleed I bleed I bleed
All my love
Know that I bleed
Oh so ceaselessly
