"Clear!" is the first single from Kardinal Offishall's upcoming fifth studio album Mr. International. The song was produced by Supa Dups and Kardinal Offishall himself.Fatman Scoop is featured at the beginning of the song with him yelling "Kardinal!" The song contains a sample of "Think (About It)" by Lyn Collins.

Music video

The music video is based on Kardinal Offishall touring the far east. The beginning takes place in Toronto with him at the airport. In the next scene, he performs in Hong Kong. The following location takes place in Beijing and he arrives at Hotel G the night before he does another performance. The last minute of the video shows Kardinal Offishall in Shanghai and Singapore.

The remix features Elephant Man.

Chart performance

The single debuted on the Canadian Hot 100 at #65, making it his third entry on the chart. It peaked at #57.

"Clear" is the twelfth episode of the third season of the post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead, which originally aired on AMC in the United States on March 3, 2013. The episode was written by Scott M. Gimple and directed by Tricia Brock. In this episode, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) go on a supply run to Rick's hometown, initially to his old police station, for more weapons for the upcoming battle against The Governor (David Morrissey). This episode marks the return of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who was last seen in the series pilot episode, "Days Gone Bye".

Plot

Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), his son Carl (Chandler Riggs), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) go on a scouting run to retrieve weapons in preparation for an impending attack by The Governor. Along the way, the group pass a lone hitchhiker (Russ Comegys) and ignore his pleas to stop.

Carl expresses to his father his reservations about Michonne. They return to Rick and Carl's hometown and enter the police station where Rick previously worked but find the weapons locker is empty. The group then plans to retrieve guns from local establishments whose gun permits Rick signed, but they discover the entire community has been booby-trapped. A walker becomes entangled in one of the traps near where the group is walking, and a masked man on a rooftop shoots it. He then orders the three to drop their weapons and shoes and leave. The group initiates a gunfight. Carl shoots the man, though the bullet doesn't penetrate the man's ballistic vest. The unconscious man is revealed to be Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who helped Rick recover from his coma.

Dearest (2014 film)

Dearest is a 2014 Chinese-language film directed by Peter Chan on kidnapping in China, based on a true story, starring Zhao Wei, Huang Bo, Tong Dawei, Hao Lei, Zhang Yi and Zhang Yuqi. It was screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.

Plot

Following years of unrelenting search, Tian Wenjun (Huang Bo) and ex-wife Lu Xiaojuan (Hao Lei) finally locate their abducted son in a remote village. After the boy was violently taken away from the village, the abductor's widow Li Hongqin (Zhao Wei) — the boy's foster mother — also loses her foster daughter to a state-owned orphanage in Shenzhen. Heartbroken, Li goes on a lone but determined journey to get her daughter back.

Background

The song was used in TV commercials of Japanese mobile company Tu-Ka, and also as the third ending theme of the YTV anime InuYasha. It became a massive hit in Japan, peaking at number one and being the 17th best selling single of 2001 according to Oricon. It also won the big prize at the Japan Cable Radio Awards and the Japan Record Awards.

Music Video

The music video of "Dearest" first aired on September 6, 2001. It begins with Ayumi in a lounge. In another room, businesspeople are at a table talking about her sales. The scene goes back to Ayumi, where she reaches for her glass, but one of her servants takes it and hands it to her. The song begins while she is singing at a mirror. Then, Ayumi and her bodyguards are walking and she change into another outfit. They walk outside to her car and its raining. Paparazzi are waiting and Ayumi covers her face as the guards try to get rid of paparazzi. Ayumi runs away from the paparazzi and guards and changes into a pink outfit. A little girl gives Ayumi candy and everyone looks around and smiles at her. She is then chased by her guards and she changes into a black outfit. One of the guards slip and the scene changes to one where Ayumi is in a field in front of windmills.
