Circuit City

Circuit City Stores, Inc. (former NYSE ticker symbol CC) was the name of an American multinational consumer electronics corporation. It was founded in 1949 and pioneered the electronics superstore format in the 1970s.

At the time of liquidation, Circuit City was the second largest U.S. electronics retailer, after Best Buy. There were 567 Circuit City Superstores nationwide, ranging in size from 15,000 to 45,000 square feet (1,400 to 4,200 m²), when the company announced total liquidation.

The "Circuit City" brand was then bought by Systemax, Inc., which used the brand to sell electronics and media as an online retailer, CircuitCity.com, until late December 2012, when the website was merged with TigerDirect. In October 2015, the brand name and associated intellectual property was sold to retailer Ronny Shmoel, who announced in January 2016 that his newly-formed Circuit City Corporation intends to open new Circuit City retail locations using a boutique rather than superstore business model.

Toyota Care 250

The ToyotaCare 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that takes place at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. The race was first held during the inaugural season for the Xfinity Series in 1982, as a 150 lap event. The race was removed from the schedule after 1984. It returned to the series starting in 1990 as a 200 lap race. It was expanded to 250 lap distance in 1994, but will be reduced to 105 miles in 2016 as part of an overhauling of the Richmond spring race weekend, including the new Dash4Cash format.
