Dr. Cian O'Neill is an IrishGAA physical trainer. O'Neill is a former footballer with Moorefield in Kildare, his career was cut short by serious back injury.
He is currently the Kildare senior inter-county football manager. He was a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science in UL and in September 2013 was appointed as Head of Department of Sports, Leisure and Childhood Studies at Cork Institute of Technology.
BossRobbie Brennan made four changes to his team in all with Eoin Harkin returning in defence, seasonal starts for Cian McBride and Sean Ryan and a return also for KeithCurtis.
"It's a bit disappointing ... The stand-off has echoes of the 2018 dispute between Kildare and the GAA, when the association fixed their do-or-die qualifier game against Mayo for Croke Park, despite Cian O'Neill's side being drawn out of the hat first.
