Christmas Eve is a 1947 United Artists comedy film directed by Edwin L. Marin. The movie is based on the story by Richard H. Landau and stars George Raft, George Brent and Randolph Scott. It was rereleased under the title "Sinner's Holiday".

Plot

The greedy nephew Philip Hasting (Reginald Denny (actor)) of eccentric Matilda Reid (Ann Harding) seeks to have her judged incompetent so he can administer her wealth; In an informal meeting with her nephew, the doctor Dr. Doremus and the judge Alston they convene that she will be saved if her three long-lost adopted sons appear for a Christmas Eve reunion, as any of them is the one she could trust, but not her nephew. Later on it is revealed that nephew Philip did some very illegal things with her money, but she doesn't claim anything. Separate stories reveal with the help of Private Detective Gimlet (Joe Sawyer) that Michael (George Brent) is a bankrupt playboy loved by loyal Ann Nelson (Joan Blondell); Mario (George Raft) is a seemingly shady character tangling with a Nazi war criminal in South America and a beautiful lady, Jean Bradford (Dolores Moran); Jonathan (Randolph Scott) is a hard-drinking rodeo rider who falls for a flirtatious woman Claire (Virginia Field) at the station, that reveals to be a police-woman in disguise chasing after an orphanage that doesn't seem to do right. Finally the gathering at the Christmas Eve happened and the couple Johnatan-Claire bring the three girl orphans from the orphanage. Aunt Matilda feels like the day she got the three little boys for adoption,

I Wanna Be Santa Claus

I Wanna Be Santa Claus is the twelfth studio album by Ringo Starr, a Christmas album, issued in 1999.

Background and recording

Ringo Starr and musical partner Mark Hudson composed "Dear Santa" and "Christmas Eve" in July 1998 at Starr's Surrey residence. The pair of the songs were recorded a few months later, between 14 and 16 September in the UK. Follow-up sessions did not commence till 8 March 1999 at Whatinthewhatthe? Studios in Los Angeles, where the tracks "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "The Little Drummer Boy", "Christmas Time (Is Here Again)" and further work on "Dear Santa", were taped that day. Featured on these tracks were Starr, Hudson, Jim Cox and Steve Dudas. Recorded throughout 1999 between Starr and Hudson, I Wanna Be Santa Claus—which is composed of half-and-half traditional songs and new originals—was made in several studios in the US and UK, with their families joining in and including two notable celebrity guests, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Eagles member Timothy B. Schmit. Jeff Lynne also sings backing vocals on "Come on Christmas, Christmas Come On", "I Wanna Be Santa Claus", and "Christmas Time (Is Here Again)". The final sessions for the album were held on 8 and 9 September at Whatinthewhatthe? Studios, with mixing taking place at A&M Studios, Los Angeles and Sterling Sound, New York.

Lord Nelson (rapper)

Lord Nelson was the lead vocalist for the rap metal band Stuck Mojo. He joined the group in 2006 after being offered a position to sing and rap for their album Southern Born Killers. Real name Lloyd Nelson, the stage name "Lord Nelson" was given to him by Rich Ward on joining Stuck Mojo. Lord Nelson's final appearance with the band is the 2008 release The Great Revival. On January 16, 2012 Lord Nelson released the video "Until I Die" featuring the French band Lies. Lord Nelson linked up with Lies after the Stuck Mojo Here Comes The Monster European tour and has recorded a solo project Fight My Struggle Between Heaven and Hell due out February 27, 2012.

The Outfoxies (アウトフォクシーズ, Autofokkushīzu) is a fighting arcade game which was released by Namco in 1994; it ran on Namco NB-2 hardware and features several professional hitmen secretly set against each other by a held-in-common client, "Mr. Acme". Acme and his wife had hired each of them to assassinate a wealthy art collector, then arranged for them to kill each other to ultimately avoid having to pay their fee - and it is an early example of arena fighting game which predates the straight-to-console Super Smash Bros. and Jump Super Stars series.
