Chris Stokes is an American record producer, manager, and film director. He is the son of actress Irene Stokes and older brother of Hip Hop/R&B singer Juanita Stokes, and is notable for discovering many popular singers, actors, and performers.
Chris Stokes' career has its origins in writing and producing records. He came to public attention in 1995, producing his sister Juanita Stokes' single Mind Blowin'. He discovered several major acts of the 90's such as IMx/Immature, B2K, and Brandy and helped shape the solo careers of Marques Houston and Omarion, in addition to discovering such stars as Jhene Aiko, Sevyn Streeter, Mila J, and Kevin McHale of Glee (TV Series) fame.
While managing IMx/Immature, then called Immature, he discovered singer, rapper, and dancer Mila J, who landed a deal with MCA Records in 1995 under the name Gyrl, and she appeared later in the group Dame Four, managed by Stokes. He managed her first solo act at Motown under direction of Sylvia Rhone, and signed again with Motown in 2014. He discovered her sister, Jhene Aiko as well. He also discovered Amber Sevyn Streeter, and with the group TG4 signed her to A&M Records. She would go on to pursue a songwriting career, with credits for artists such as Chris Brown and Ariana Grande.

Christopher Martin Thomas "Chris" Stokes (born 8 March 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for League One club Coventry City.
Stokes played for Southampton and Bristol City youth teams before joining Bolton Wanderers at the age of 14 for an undisclosed fee.
He captained the Wanderers at youth level during their successful run to the Youth Cup quarter finals in the 2008–09 season, scoring a penalty against Liverpool at Anfield and was a regular in Bolton's reserve team.
On 12 March 2010, he signed for Crewe Alexandra on a one-month loan deal, making his debut two days later in a 1–1 draw with Torquay United and played 90 minutes.
On 11 May 2010, Stokes was released by Bolton Wanderers following the expiry of his contract. On 21 July 2010, Stokes opted to quit his trial period at Crewe to take up a similar opportunity at Walsall, however was not offered a contract by Saddlers manager Chris Hutchings.
Nelson Christian 'Chris' Stokes has been an active member of the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team since its inception in 1988. His day job is as Vice President of Business Development at the Victoria Mutual Building Society. Stokes married Kayon Elizabeth Smith on 18 March 2006.
Stokes was a successful track and field athlete, and after his associate degree from Bronx Community College, he was awarded an athletic scholarship to the University of Idaho. After finishing a bachelor's degree in Finance (Cum Laude) at the University of Idaho, he went on to earn an MBA from Washington State University and a masters in Banking (with honors) from Georgetown University.
While at Washington State University, he tried out for the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics, and ended up in the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
Chris and his brother Dudley Stokes competed in four separate winter Olympics.
