Chris Duke is an American television personality and the TV host of the TV series Motorz TV on Youtoo TV, The Family Channel (US TV network), Untamed Sports TV, Biz Television, Tuff TV, The Auto Channel, The Rural Channel, Rev'n, and globally on YouTube, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and iTunes. Produced by Duke-Taylor Productions, LLC, the goal of his Automotive Improvement® show, which launched in 2008, is to show viewers how to maintain their vehicle and install accessories step-by-step in a typical garage setting, using common tools.
Chris Duke was born just outside Los Angeles, California and raised in Washington. Growing up with a gear head for an older brother who was constantly re-building engines, Chris' interest in the automotive industry began as soon as he was able to drive. While working for Microsoft right after graduating from Sammamish High School, this autodidact spent most of his evenings and weekends modifying his car, mainly through aftermarket accessories. In addition to installing a massive stereo system that was worth more than the car itself, he designed and built his own 7th order acoustic subwoofer speaker enclosure, made popular by Bose Corporation, that filled the entire rear hatchback of his vehicle.
Chris Duke is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League and Continental Indoor Soccer League.
Duke attended the University of San Diego, playing on the men’s soccer team from 1985 to 1988. On July 9, 1989, the Kansas City Comets selected Duke in the third round of the Major Indoor Soccer League draft. The Comets folded at the end of the 1990-1991 season. On March 4, 1992, Duke signed with the Kansas City Attack. He played until the end of the season. On June 20, 1995, he joined the Pittsburgh Stingers of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.
