Chris Doyle may refer to:

Chris Doyle (ice hockey)

Chris Doyle (born March 22, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays with the Laval Prédateurs of the LNAH, and formally with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League (CHL). He was selected by the New York Rangers in the 5th round (141st overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Doyle played major junior hockey in both the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey League.

Chris Doyle is a multi-media artist who lives in New York. His major public projects have included BRIGHT CANYON, presented by the Times Square Alliance (2014); LEAP, presented by Creative Time in Columbus Circle (2000) and Commutable, presented by the Public Art Fund on the Lower East Side (1996), all in New York City. His work has also been shown at The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Queens Museum of Art, P.S.1 Museum of Contemporary Art, the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, Germany, and as part of the New York Video Festival at Lincoln Center. In 2015 he created a major immersive sculpture, video and sound piece for Wave Hill Botanical Gardens in New York.

Doyle's recent projects include Vault and The Moons, both in Kansas City, MO (both 2007); and the multi-site 50,000 Beds presented simultaneously at Artspace (New Haven, CT), Real Art Ways (Hartford, CT) and The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Ridgefield, CT).

Doyle received his B.A. at Boston College School of Arts and Sciences in 1981 and received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University in 1985. In 2014, he was named a Guggenheim Fellow.

Chris Doyle (footballer)

Christopher "Chris" Doyle is an English footballer who plays for Morecambe.

Career

Doyle spent time in the Everton Academy from the age of 10 to 14 before joining Dickie Danson's youth setup at Morecambe.

He was then given a pro contract a year early at the age of 17 at the start of the 2012-13 season. Doyle made his 1st team debut in the Shrimps 3-0 win against Rochdale coming on as a late sub. Still a young and promising prospect, Doyle sees himself as a future club captain and won back to back player of the year awards for Stewart Drummond's reserve team. Doyle had a successful loan period at Chorley FC till the end of the season (2014-15) scoring 5 times in 26 appearances and reaching the Conference North play-off final. Doyle signed an extended 12 month contract with Morecambe at start of 2015-16 season.

Education

Doyle attended Sacred Heart Catholic College situated in Crosby, Liverpool.

Chris Doyle (American football)

Chris Doyle (born June 30, 1968) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the strength and conditioning coach at The University of Iowa, a position he has held since 1999. Doyle played college football on the offensive line at Boston University from 1986 to 1988.

Background

Raised in Quincy, Massachusetts, Doyle attended Boston College High School, where he played football. Doyle attended college at Boston University, earning an Bachelor of Science in human movement and a Masters of Education.

Iowa Hawkeyes

Doyle has served as strength and conditioning coach for Iowa Hawkeyes football, since 1999. He has trained 180 student-athletes who have joined professional sports teams, as well as 19 former assistants who have become head strength and conditioning coaches.

Break the Rock

Doyle is known for his "Break the Rock" program. A large stone inscribed with that saying sits in the University of Iowa weight room and inspires players to overcome obstacles.
