Chris Crawford (basketball, born 1992)
Chris Crawford (born September 30, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for Rouen Métropole Basket of the French LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for Memphis University.
College career
After being touted as a four-star recruit coming out of high school, Crawford went to the Memphis Tigers. After two irregular initial seasons, he had a breakout season as a senior, posting career highs in points, rebounds, three-point field goals made (71) and three-point percentage (39.9), being named by C-USA as sixth man of the year.
Professional career
After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA draft, Crawford joined the Houston Rockets for the 2014 NBA Summer League. On September 12, 2014, Crawford signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers, however he was waived on October 19. On November 2, 2014, he was signed as an affiliate player by the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League to be in their training camp eventually making his way to the opening day roster.
