Chris Anderson (born July 9, 1961) is a British-American author and entrepreneur. He was with The Economist for seven years before joining WIRED magazine in 2001, where he was the editor-in-chief until 2012. He is known for his 2004 article entitled The Long Tail; which he later expanded into the 2006 book, The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business Is Selling Less of More. He is currently the cofounder and CEO of 3D Robotics, a drone manufacturing company.
Anderson was born in London. His family moved to the United States, when he was five. He enrolled for a degree program in physics from George Washington University and went on to study quantum mechanics and science journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He later did research at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
He began his career with a six-year period as editor at the two scientific journals, Nature and Science. He then joined The Economist in 1994, where he remained for seven years, during which time he was stationed in London, Hong Kong and New York in various positions, ranging from Technology Editor to US Business Editor. He took over as editor of WIRED in 2001.

Chris Anderson (born 1957) is a British entrepreneur and the curator of TED, the non-profit dedicated to ideas worth spreading, which hosts an annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and an open-access website where TED Talks lecture videos can be viewed for free by the public. Previously he founded Future Publishing.
Anderson was born in a remote village in Pakistan in 1957. His parents were medical missionaries, and he spent most of his early life in Pakistan, India and Afghanistan. He studied at the Woodstock School in the Himalayan mountains of India, before moving to a boarding school in Bath, England.
At Oxford University, he studied physics, then changed to politics, philosophy and economics, to eventually graduate with a degree in philosophy in 1978.
Anderson began a career in journalism, working on local newspapers, then producing a world news service in the Seychelles.
Christopher Anderson (born 2 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.
Anderson signed a one-year professional contract with Burnley in May 2009, having first joined the club at the age of nine, before being released in May 2011. He signed for Singaporean club Gombak United for the 2012 season, making his professional debut for them in February 2012. Upon his return to England, he started training with North West Counties Football League Premier Division side Colne, going on to sign for the club in December 2013.
