Chikurin-ji(竹林寺 chikurinji) is a Buddhist temple in Ikoma, Nara, Japan.
The temple is said to have been established by the monk Gyoki(行基) in the 8th century and is well known as the place where Gyoki is buried. A silver urn containing his burial record was found in 1255. It has since been designated a National Treasure of Japan.
Chikurin-ji is close to Ichibu Station on the Kintetsu Ikoma Line.

Chikurin-ji (竹林寺) is a Shingon temple in Kōchi, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. Temple 31 on the Shikoku 88 temple pilgrimage, the main image is of Monju Bosatsu. The temple is said to have been founded by Gyōki in the early eighth century.
The temple houses a number of important sculptures and its late Edo-period gardens are a Natural Monument.
