Chepo F.C. is a Panamanian football team playing at the Liga Panameña de Fútbol. It is based in Chepo.
Chepo is known for its youth system of whom have emerged many future promises of Panamanian football, among those are: Armando Gun, Gabriel Torres, Celso Polo, Eduardo Jiménez, José Calderón, Tomas Dun, Eduardo Ponce and Román Torres, all of whom have represented Panama in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2003 and 2005. The preliminary round of the U-17 World Cup, 50% of the player in the roster played in Chepo
Chepo F.C. was founded in 1999 under the name of Proyecto 2000, where it gathered young players from around the country aspiring to win a ticket to the Liga Panameña de Fútbol one day. They started playing in the Liga Distritorial de Fútbol de Panamá (Lidifutpa).
In 2000 the team was renamed Chepo F.C. due to expansion and participated in 2003 in Primera A.
In 2006 the team gained promotion from Primera A to the Liga Panameña de Fútbol after beating Pan de Azúcar 2-1. They have not been very successful at the highest level and only reached the semi-finals of the 2008 Apertura season.

The Company was founded in 1972 as the manager of the Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust under the name F&C Management Limited.
In 1985 the Company started managing third party funds. In 1989 the Company established a partnership with Germany’s HypoVereinsbank who acquired a 50% stake in the business; this stake was increased to 90% in 1998. In 2000 Eureko purchased HypoVereinsbank’s 90% stake and in 2001 went on to secure 100% control and consolidate their asset management activities with those of the Company under the F&C brand.

In 2008 Friends Provident announced its intention to divest its shareholding in F&C Asset Management. This was completed in 2009.
On 7 May 2014, F&C Asset Management plc was acquired by Bank of Montreal through its wholly owned subsidiary, BMO Global Asset Management (Europe) Limited.
