Cheltenham Town F.C.

Cheltenham Town Football Club /ˈtʃɛltnəm ˈtaʊn/ is an English football club based in the Town of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. As of the start of the 2015–16 season, they will play in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Founded in 1887, the team has played at three different grounds, namely Agg-Gardner's Recreation Ground, Carter's Field, and now Whaddon Road, which is known for commercial reasons as The World of Smile Stadium. Their nickname is The Robins, and the club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.

Promoted to The Football League as Conference Premier champions in 1999, Cheltenham have played as high as League One, the third tier of English football, spending a total of four seasons there. Their best FA Cup run saw them reach the last 16 (fifth round) in 2002. The last piece of silverware won by the club was the Football Conference title in 1999, when the club attained full League status for the first time. Its league status was lost with relegation in 2015.

Cheltenham (SEPTA station)

Cheltenham is a station located along the SEPTA Regional Rail Fox Chase Line. It is located at Old Soldiers Road and Hasbrook Avenue and has a 17-space parking lot. In FY 2013, Cheltenham station had a weekday average of 267 boardings and 392 alightings.

Until 2005, the freight and commuter rail lines shared track from Newtown Junction to a point just south of Cheltenham station, where SEPTA trains utilized a crossover to travel to/from the freight track. These tracks are now segregated, with a siding having been installed between Cheltenham and Lawndale stations for SEPTA use during peak hours. The freight line eventually merges with SEPTA's West Trenton Line between Neshaminy Falls and Langhorne Stations.

Cheltenham Station serves the Burholme neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia and the eastern part of Cheltenham Township.

History

In 1993, the original 100-year-old station was destroyed by fire in what was ruled by the police as an arson. The station was replaced with a trailer serving as the ticket office. A new station and high-level platforms were opened in October 2007.

Chelmsford 123

Chelmsford 123 is a British television situation comedy produced for Channel 4 by Hat Trick Productions. It ran for two series, of six and seven episodes, in 1988 and 1990.

The series was set in the British town of Chelmsford in the year AD 123, and concerned the power struggle between Roman governor Aulus Paulinus (Jimmy Mulville) and the British chieftain, Badvoc (Rory McGrath). Britain is a miserable place, cold and wet – just the place to exile Aulus for accidentally insulting the Emperor's horse, but also give him something useful to do. Aulus, probably a play on Aulus Platorius Nepos, the governor of Roman Britain between 122 and 125, was a rather delicate Roman, who was usually outwitted by the scheming Badvoc, who hadn't had a haircut for twenty-five years. Many of the other regular "Hat Trick" actors, previously seen in shows such as Who Dares Wins, also appeared.

Series 1 and 2 was released on DVD by Acorn Media UK on 15 September 2011.

APOEL FC (Greek: ΑΠΟΕΛ; short for Αθλητικός Ποδοσφαιρικός Όμιλος Ελλήνων Λευκωσίας, Athletikos Podosferikos Omilos Ellinon Lefkosias, "Athletic Football Club of Greeks of Nicosia") is a professional football club based in Nicosia, Cyprus. APOEL is the most popular football team in Cyprus and they are the most successful with an overall tally of 24 championships, 21 cups and 13 super cups.

APOEL's greatest moment in the European competitions occurred in the season 2011–12, when the club participated in the group stages of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League (along with F.C. Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk and Zenit St. Petersburg) and achieved qualification for the quarter-finals of the competition by topping the group and eliminating Olympique Lyonnais in the last 16, becoming the only Cypriot club to reach the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. F&C Asset Management Plc is an asset management company and is part of BMO Global Asset Management.

History

The Company was founded in 1972 as the manager of the Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust under the name F&C Management Limited.

In 1985 the Company started managing third party funds. In 1989 the Company established a partnership with Germany’s HypoVereinsbank who acquired a 50% stake in the business; this stake was increased to 90% in 1998. In 2000 Eureko purchased HypoVereinsbank’s 90% stake and in 2001 went on to secure 100% control and consolidate their asset management activities with those of the Company under the F&C brand.

In 2004 ISIS Asset Management merged with F&C Management Limited to form F&C Asset Management and the combined business was then listed on the London Stock Exchange.

In 2008 Friends Provident announced its intention to divest its shareholding in F&C Asset Management. This was completed in 2009.

On 7 May 2014, F&C Asset Management plc was acquired by Bank of Montreal through its wholly owned subsidiary, BMO Global Asset Management (Europe) Limited.
