Speak!

Anthony Negrete (born February 25, 1986) better known by his stage name SPEAK!, is an American rapper from Moreno Valley, California. He is known for having co-written the 2011 song Gucci Gucci performed by Kreayshawn and collaborating with various Odd Future members such as Mike G and Syd Tha Kyd, who recorded his 2011 album Inside Out Boy

Speak!!!

Speak!!! is the fourth album from The Mad Capsule Markets. The album was recorded in England. Two songs were featured from the original Berrie recording. The album displayed a more experimental and darker side to their music, evident in the closing song "Kachiku". It was also their first album to have a full English song ("Solid State Survivor", originally by YMO).

Speak (No-Man album)

Speak is a compilation album consisting of previously obscure material by British Art rock band No-Man. Originally, recorded between 1988 and 1989, the songs were re-mixed and re-sung in 1999 (during the band's sessions for Returning Jesus). The songs had only been released on compact cassette earlier in the band's history.

Snapper Music's 2005 reissue of Speak adds the bonus track "The Hidden Art of Man Ray" (an untreated improvisation from 1988). The track also appears as a second disc on the limited edition of Tonefloat's vinyl release of Speak.

"Pink Moon" is a Nick Drake cover from his album of the same name.

Chanel S.A. The House of Chanel is known for the "little black dress", the perfume No. 5 de Chanel, and the Chanel Suit. Chanel’s use of jersey fabric produced garments that were comfortable and affordable. Chanel revolutionized fashion — high fashion (haute couture) and everyday fashion (prêt-à-porter) — by replacing structured-silhouettes, based upon the corset and the bodice, with garments that were functional and at the same time flattering to the woman’s figure.

Chanel No. 5

Chanel No. 5 is the first perfume launched by French couturier Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. The chemical formula for the fragrance was compounded by Russian-French chemist and perfumer Ernest Beaux.

Aesthetic inspiration

Traditionally, fragrance worn by women had adhered to two basic categories: respectable women favored the pure essence of a single garden flower, and sexually provocative perfumes heavy with animal musk or jasmine were associated with women of the demi-monde, prostitutes or courtesans. Chanel felt the time was right for the debut of a scent that would epitomize the flapper and would speak to the liberated spirit of the 1920s.

Iconography of the No. 5 name

At the age of twelve, Chanel was handed over to the care of nuns, and for the next six years spent a stark, disciplined existence in a convent orphanage, Aubazine, founded by Cistercians in the 12th century. From her earliest days there, the number five had potent associations for her. For Chanel, the number five was especially esteemed as signifying the pure embodiment of a thing, its spirit, its mystic meaning. The paths that led Chanel to the cathedral for daily prayer were laid out in circular patterns repeating the number five.

Chanel 2.55

The Chanel 2.55 is a luxury leather handbag or purse manufactured by the fashion house of Chanel.

Origin

In the 1920s, Coco Chanel became tired of having to carry her handbags in her arms and decided to design a handbag that freed up her hands. Inspired by the straps found on soldiers’ bags she added thin straps and introduced the resulting design to the market in 1929.

After her successful comeback to the fashion industry in 1954, Chanel decided to update her handbag. The resulting design was called 2.55 after the date of creation, February 1955.
