First Time (第一次) is the ninth album to be released by actor and singer Jackie Chan. It was released across Asia in 1992. This marks the first album Chan sings the majority of the songs in Mandarin.

It also marks the first time music videos were recorded to accompany some of the songs. Fans also note a change in Chan's singing style, saying it became softer in this album.

First Time (Robin Beck song)

"First Time" is singer Robin Beck's first significant chart hit, released in 1988. It was originally recorded for a Coca-Cola commercial in 1987, and was released originally in the United States on January 31, 1988, and subsequently released as a single. The single was released in the UK in October 1988 and climbed to No. 1 and spent three weeks there in November and December 1988, spending 14 weeks in total in the UK Singles Chart.

At that time, in 1988, the song was covered in a Spanish version for the Latin American Coca-Cola campaign by Mexican singer Rocío Banquells, under the title "Primera Vez", released on her album "En El Alambre". This version became #1 for several weeks in most of Spanish language territories.

In 2003, the song was covered by Unique who achieved a minor success in Switzerland.

In 2006, Sunblock, an electronic music group from Sweden recorded a cover of the song with Robin Beck for their second single and it became their second Top 10 hit, charting at #9 on the UK Singles Chart (see 2006 in British music).

For the First Time (Stephanie Mills album)

For the First Time is the second album by Stephanie Mills. Released in 1975 on the Motown label. Produced by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The arrangements were by Burt Bacharach, Bill Eaton, Dave Matthews and Kenny Asher. After a fallout during the recording of the soundtrack to the remake of Lost Horizon, Bacharach and David split before briefly reuniting for this album. After this album project that featured 8 new songs plus 2 covers of songs that Dionne Warwick had previously recorded, the famous songwriting duo would not work together until they wrote 3 unrecorded songs in 1978. They then did not write together again until a reunion in 1989, when they wrote 2 songs - "How Can I Love You" which remains unrecorded, and "Sunny Weather Lover" which was eventually recorded by Dionne Warwick for her 1993 album "Friends Can Be Lovers".

For the First Time (1967 film)

For the First Time (Spanish: Por Primera Vez) is a 1967 Cuban documentary short film. It chronicles the events of April 12, 1967 in the village of Los Munos, in the Baracoa municipality of Cuba, where a mobile cinema truck shows the villagers moving pictures for the first time.

The entire film was shot on April 12, 1967 in the village itself, and shows the cinema truck traveling to the village, as well as interviews with both the projectionists and several villagers. The film shown was the Chaplin feature, Modern Times, on a portable 16 mm projector in the back of the truck. As it happens, the film screening is well received.

The film was made available in recent years for an international audience with it being included as a special feature in a MK2 DVD release of Modern Times, distributed by Warner Brothers.

"For the First Time" is a 1996 song from the 1996 film One Fine Day starring Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney with music and lyrics by James Newton Howard, Jud J. Friedman, and Allan Dennis Rich and performed by Kenny Loggins. The song was included in the soundtrack of the film and was Loggins' one and only number one hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. "For the First Time" spent two weeks at number one and peaked at number sixty on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart. "For the First Time" did not make the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was the first Adult Contemporary number one not to make that chart since John Gary's 1967 hit "Cold". "For the First Time" was nominated for the Best Original Song. The song also has accompanying music video, and Kenny Loggins shaved off all of his trademark facial hair for the video. He can be seen clean shaven in the music video.
