Cell(s) may refer to:
Cell (セル) is a Japanese visual kei rock band, formed by Kon, from the band La'Mule and NightingeiL in May 2012.
Vocalist KON (ex.La'Mule), guitarists SIN and NAO (both ex. La'Mule), bassist YUKI came together and formed the band in April 2012. Composed with infinite styles and possibilities of the band, creating a new form, CELL launched had launched their activity.
Shortly after the band's formation, a series of One Man concerts had been held at the Ikebukuro EDGE. The band had released 3 maxi singles, 1 DVD single, and contributed to former X Japan guitarist hide's tribute album hide TRIBUTE -VISUAL STYLES II- covering the song "Hurry Go Round".
Since 2013, CELL has been boosted their activities internationally being invited as the special guest to one of Los Angeles's biggest Japanese Convention AX2013 and played the bands first U.S.A show. In 2014, Vocalist KON had appeared as a guest representing CELL at the LA VK Fest held in Downtown, Los Angeles, as well as holding a Livestream Q&A Session for fans in the States.
A spreadsheet is an interactive computer application for organization, analysis and storage of data in tabular form. Spreadsheets are developed as computerized simulations of paper accounting worksheets. The program operates on data represented as cells of an array, organized in rows and columns. Each cell of the array may contain either numeric or text data, or the results of formulas that automatically calculate and display a value based on the contents of other cells.
Spreadsheet users may adjust any stored value and observe the effects on calculated values. This makes the spreadsheet useful for "what-if" analysis since many cases can be rapidly investigated without manual recalculation. Modern spreadsheet software can have multiple interacting sheets, and can display data either as text and numerals, or in graphical form.
Besides performing basic arithmetic and mathematical functions, modern spreadsheets provide built-in functions for common financial and statistical operations. Such calculations as net present value or standard deviation can be applied to tabular data with a pre-programmed function in a formula. Spreadsheet programs also provide conditional expressions, functions to convert between text and numbers, and functions that operate on strings of text.
In quantum mechanics, spin is an intrinsic property of all elementary particles. Fermions, the particles that constitute ordinary matter, have half-integer spin. All known elementary fermions have a spin of ½.
Particles having net spin ½ include the proton, neutron, electron, neutrino, and quarks. The dynamics of spin-½ objects cannot be accurately described using classical physics; they are among the simplest systems which require quantum mechanics to describe them. As such, the study of the behavior of spin-½ systems forms a central part of quantum mechanics.
A spin-½ particle is characterized by an angular momentum quantum number for spin s of 1/2. In solutions of the Schrödinger equation, angular momentum is quantized according to this number, so that total spin angular momentum
However, the observed fine structure when the electron is observed along one axis, such as the Z-axis, is quantized in terms of a magnetic quantum number, which can be viewed as a quantization of a vector component of this total angular momentum, which can have only the values of ±½ħ.
Spin is the first solo album released by ex-Savage Garden member Darren Hayes. The album was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and produced by Walter Afanasieff. It was released in Australia in March 2002 and reached the rest of the world later that year. The album has sold over two million copies as of 2011.
Hayes, continuing the trend from his years as Savage Garden's frontman, addresses romance on almost every track on the album. Walter Afanasieff, who had already worked on Savage Garden's Affirmation, oversaw the production of the majority of the album, with help from co-producers Greg Bieck, Rick Nowels and Robert Conley. Afanasieff produced five of the twelve tracks on the original release: "Insatiable", "Heart Attack", "Dirty", "Good Enough" and the title track, "Spin"; Bieck produced "Strange Relationship" and "I Miss You"; Nowels produced "Creepin' Up on You", "I Can't Ever Get Enough of You", "Like It or Not" and "What You Like"; and Conley solely produced the track "Crush (1980 Me)". Afanasieff also produced the Australian only bonus track, "The Heart Wants What It Wants", and the UK Collector's Edition bonus tracks, "I Wish U Heaven" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". Till 2006,the album sold 118,000 in United States.
