Casual Sex?

Casual Sex? is a 1988 comedy film about two female friends who go to a holiday resort in search of the perfect man. It was directed by Geneviève Robert, and stars Lea Thompson, Victoria Jackson, Andrew Dice Clay, Jerry Levine, and Sandra Bernhard.

Plot

Stacy (Lea Thompson) has a promiscuous past, and after learning of the AIDS epidemic she wants to find a guy whom she knows is clean, so she convinces her childhood friend Melissa (Victoria Jackson) to go to a health spa (or resort) for singles so that they can hopefully each find the man of their dreams. It shows them having received or possibly having bought a basket filled with condoms. At the spa, Stacy meets Nick (Stephen Shellen), a struggling musician whom she is taken with, and also encounters Vinny, aka the Vin Man (Andrew Dice Clay), an annoying Italian-American man from New Jersey whom she tries to avoid.

Casual sex

Casual sex are certain types of sexual activity outside of romantic relationships that imply an absence of commitment, emotional attachment, or familiarity between sexual partners.

Examples are sex in casual relationships, one-night stands, extramarital sex, prostitution, or swinging.

Social norms and moral concerns

Attitudes to casual sex range from conservative and religious views, the extreme of which may result in imprisonment or even capital punishment for sexual relations outside heterosexual marriage, to liberal or libertarian views, the extreme of which is free love.

In the United States in the 1920s, "petting parties", where petting ("making out" or foreplay) was the main attraction, became a popular part of the flapper lifestyle, which diminished after the end of the Roaring Twenties.

During the sexual revolution in the United States and Europe in the 1960s and 1970s, social attitudes to sexual issues underwent considerable changes. The advent of the pill and other forms of birth control, the Women's Liberation movement, and the legalization of abortion in many countries is believed to have led to a wider practice of casual sex. Most religions disapprove of sex outside of marriage (see religion and sexuality).

"Casual Sex" is a song by Canadian rock band My Darkest Days. It was released on January 13, 2012, as the lead single from the band's second studio album, Sick and Twisted Affair. The song features John 5 on guitar.

Information

There are two different versions of the music video for this song. In one version, the girls are undressed; in the alternate version, they are censored. The video features pornographic actors Ron Jeremy and Sabrina Maree.

Trivia

The band revealed in an interview that the excessive nudity and promiscuity of the shoot caused tension between them and their respective significant others. Matt Walst's girlfriend left him, while both Brendan McMillan and Doug Oliver dealt with turbulence in their romantic relationships. In another interview, Reid Henry admitted to fraternizing with a young lady in the video, who remained unnamed. Later photos and tweets revealed the model involved to be Penthouse Pet and Hustler model Sabrina Maree.
