Like a bird in a cage
Apathetic and quiet
Enslaved thoughts in an overloaded head
Rising tears in lonely eyes
The sun is hiding
Now you can forget
The raising of the artificial light
Brings your mask to life again
In the dark of the night
In your brain blinding light
A beautiful girl
You give her a smile
Your sad and lonely looking face
Covered by a drunken shine
Through the shining sun
You wake up under a bridge
With shaking hands and a feeling of pain
