Roll On is the second album by Australian rock band The Living End, released in Australia and New Zealand on EMI in 2000, and internationally on Reprise/Warner Brothers in 2001.
Musically, the album marked a change from the sound of their debut album, The Living End. Roll On had a notably more polished sound (as compared to the more garage-y sound of the previous album). Horn sections featured on numerous songs, such as Uncle Harry and Killing The Right. Whereas the previous album had displayed punk and rockabilly influences (by artists such as Green Day and Stray Cats), Roll On showed more Australian rock influences, particularly artists of the 80s Pub Rock era. The album even garnered comparison, by a few critics, to seminal punk band The Clash's creative breakthrough, London Calling. The album was recorded with producer Nick Launay, who had previously worked with artists such as Silverchair and Midnight Oil.
It also marked the last major work featuring drummer Travis Demsey. In the downtime following the album's release and subsequent tour, he would leave the band, to be replaced by Andy Strachan.
Carry Me Home (EP) is the third EP recording by Toronto indie rock band Love Kills. Released May 2007 (independent), the EP's 6 songs are unique in that they are all accompanied by scored cello duets, attempting to mesh with the band's usual fuzz and feedback palette.

Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on January 13, 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005 Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian based label Alfa Matrix. On June 3, 2011, Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self release future material.
According to founder Claus Larsen, Leæther Strip is, and always will be, only him. Larsen was born on November 13, 1967 in Aalborg, Denmark. He first released music under the name of Leæther Strip in 1989. However, his 1995 release G.A.W.M.U.S. (Getting Away With Murder U. S.) included two early demos from 1982 and 1984, with the latter forming the unknown beginning of the band according to an interview conducted with Claus Larsen. In 1991, Larsen created a side-project called Klute in which he also remained the sole member.
Carry Me is the third studio album from Christian singer, songwriter and recording artist Josh Wilson, which was produced by Matt Bronleewe and released on April 9, 2013, by Sparrow Records. The album achieved commercial successes and critical acclamation.
Josh Wilson gave an interview to Christian Music Zine's Joshua Andre and was asked "For me, Carry Me is your best album yet, what are the main themes of the album? Can you tell us about the story behind the lead single “Carry Me” and what the song means to you? What are your other favourite songs on the album?"
This year, I’ve been dealing with pretty severe anxiety, to the point of having panic attacks. Some of these panic attacks were so severe that I thought I was having a heart attack. I’ve had to trust God in a way that I never have before. I’ve literally had to ask God for the strength and peace to take my next breath. I’ve had to pray for Him to carry me through this incredibly difficult time, and He’s done just that.
Rich Dodson (born 1947, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian singer, song-writer and producer. He is the guitarist and a founding member of Canadian Rock trio, The Stampeders. He is most well known for penning the groups' biggest hit, "Sweet City Woman" which hit Number 1 in Canada, and Number 8 on Billboard in 1971. He also wrote many other notable hits for the band such as "Wild Eyes" (1972), "Devil You" (1971), "Johnny Lightning" (1974) and "Carry Me" (1971).
Dodson has stated that his influences come from instrumental bands of the 1960s such as The Ventures, and The Shadows, as well as Lovin' Spoonful and The Zombies. On stage, he is known for playing his self-designed Fender double neck guitar.
Dodson left the Stampeders in 1978 to pursue his interests in music production and built his own 24-track recording studio called Marigold Studios, where he produced his own solo material as well as produced and engineered "Fate Stay with Me" (1987) for Alanis Morissette. In that same year, he began his nationally-distributed independent record label called Marigold Productions. Dodson went on to have a successful solo career with three top-ten hits in Canada including "Lookin' Back" (1981), "She's Comin' Back/Your Own Kind of Music" (1985), and "Cruel Emotion" (1986). In 1994, Dodson released his solo songs on an album called "Secret Hits" on Aquarius Records.
Spin me round, I'm blindfold
Once upon a time somebody told me
I was going to be someone
I was supposed to be someone
Now one half likes to carry, wants to share
I want to hold the candle
Load the gun for you
Only load the gun for you
But the other half
Yearns to be living that hard life
When I'm making, breaking rules
That are all on my own, on my own, so
Blow winds and come rainclouds
Gather over my head
Blow winds and come rainclouds
Gather over my head
Cracks keep gaping down me
Opening great halls of tug of war
Where no one is the champion
No one is the champion
So slice me down the middle
Keep the half that wants to be
Your eyes, your arms to fight for you
Oh baby, so hard for you
'Cause this other half
Needs to be living that hard life
Can you let me squeeze the trigger
Can you give me the gun, give me the gun, oh
Blow winds and come you rainclouds
Gather over my head, won't you come in
Blow winds and come you rainclouds
Gather over my head
If I win, are you man enough to claim me
If I fail, will you carry me home, all the way home
Blow winds and come you rainclouds
Gather over my head
Blow winds and come rainclouds
Gather over my head
