Puli
The Puli is a small-medium breed of Hungarian herding and livestock guarding dog known for its long, corded coat. The tight curls of the coat, similar to dreadlocks, make it virtually waterproof. A similar looking, but much larger breed – also Hungarian – is the Komondor. The term used for a group of Puli is Pulik.
Description
Appearance
The Puli is a solid colored dog that is usually black. Other less common coat colors are white, gray, or cream (off-white or fakó in Hungarian). A variety of the cream-coated dogs have black masks. The white Pulis are not albino, nor do they have blue eyes. They commonly have dark pigment, black pads, black noses and black pigment inside the mouth. The white gene is recessive to the pure black gene. The breed standard is for females about 16.5 inches (42 cm) at the withers, and 17 inches for males. Females weigh 23-25 pounds, males slightly more. The coat of some Puli dogs can be different, thinner or thicker cords, either flat or round, depending on the texture of the coat and the balance of undercoat to outer coat.
Puli (2015 film)
Puli (English: Tiger) is an Indian Tamil fantasy-adventure film written and directed by Chimbu Deven. The film features Vijay in a dual role alongside an ensemble cast including Sudeep, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Prabhu and Nandita Swetha. The film is dubbed into Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions were released a day later on 2 October 2015. Produced by Vijay's public relations officer Selvakumar, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Natarajan Subramaniam as the cinematographer and has T. Muthuraj as the production designer. After beginning pre-production works in early 2013, the film began its shoot in November 2014. The official teaser was released on 22 June 2015. The film was released on 1 October and received mixed reviews.
Plot
Marudheeran (Vijay) is the adopted son of a tribal village chief Vembunathan (Prabhu). From a young age, he notices the atrocities regularly committed on the villagers by a group of people from the neighbouring kingdom of Vedhalapuram called the Vedhalams, who have supernatural powers. When he becomes an adult, he starts to protect the villagers from the Vedhalams, because of which he is well respected by the villagers.
Puli (2010 film)
Puli English(Tiger) is a 2010 Telugu action film written and directed by S. J. Surya, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with Nikeesha Patel, Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nassar, Jyothi Krishna, Bhrahmaji, Ali and Girish Karnad in supporting roles and Shriya Saran appearing in an item number. The film features a soundtrack by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Binod Pradhan. It was produced by Navodaya Appachan and Singanamala Ramesh on a ₹ 400 million budget and was distributed Geetha Arts. The film was released on 10 September. The film was originally titled Komaram Puli but was renamed as Puli on the second day of release, following objections by Komaram Sony Rao, grandson of the tribal legend Komaram Bheem, from whose name the title of the movie was taken. Its Nizam rights were sold to Geetha Arts for ₹12 crore (US$1.8 million) which is a record sum. Later dubbed in Hindi as Jaanbaaz Khiladi.

Carina (Chinese astronomy)
The modern constellation Carina lies across one of the quadrants symbolized by the The Vermillion Bird of the South (南方朱雀, Nán Fāng Zhū Què) and The Southern Asterisms (近南極星區, Jìnnánjíxīngōu), that divide the sky in traditional Chinese uranography.
According to the quadrant, possibly constellation Carina in Chinese sky is almost not seen, except Canopus (Alpha Carinae), and Canopus is "south pole" in Chinese sky, and Miaplacidus (Beta Carinae), Aspidiske (Iota Carinae) and Avior (Epsilon Carinae) are bright stars in this constellation that possibly never seen in Chinese sky.
The name of the western constellation in modern Chinese is 船底座 (chuán dǐ zuò), meaning "the bottom of boat constellation".

Toyota Carina
The Toyota Carina was an automobile manufactured by Toyota from December 1970 to 2001. It was introduced as a four-door counterpart of the Celica, of which it originally shared a platform. Later, it was realigned to the Corona platform, but retained its performance image, with distinctive bodywork and interior — aimed at the youth market and remaining exclusive to Japanese Toyota dealerships Toyota Store. It was replaced in Japan by the Toyota Allion in 2000 and was succeeded in Europe by the Toyota Avensis.
The inspiration for the name Carina came from the Carina star cluster, sharing a naming inspiration from the Celica, which is ultimately derived from the Latin word coelica meaning "heavenly" or "celestial".
First generation (1970–1977) A10 & A30 series
The first-generation Carina was manufactured from December 1970, and sold at Toyota Store dealership channels in Japan, sharing its platform with the Toyota Corolla Store exclusive Toyota Celica sports coupe, while the already established Toyota Corona was sold at Toyopet Store locations. Its European release took place in October 1971. Toyota was able to save development and tooling costs by building a family sedan and a sports car on the same platform and in the same factory. The Carina filled the size gap between the smaller Corolla and the larger Corona.
