Charlie Dominici (born June 16, 1951) is an American singer best known as the second vocalist for the progressive metal band Dream Theater, having replaced Chris Collins (while the band was called Majesty) and later being replaced by James LaBrie. Most recently, Dominici has fronted his own self-named progressive metal band, who have released three albums.
Dominici originally came into prominence as a member of Franke and the Knockouts, in which he played guitar and sang backing vocals. He auditioned for Dream Theater in 1987 and was hired for the job in November of that year.
Dominici performed on the band's debut album, 1989's When Dream and Day Unite. However, Dominici was older than the rest of the band and there were personal and creative differences at work. It was felt that, despite being a very talented singer, his decidedly "pop" vocal style did not fit in with the distinctive progressive direction that the band's compositions were taking. According to Dream Theater ex-drummer Mike Portnoy, "It was like having Billy Joel singing in Queensrÿche." A good singer in the wrong band, they amicably parted ways shortly thereafter.
Dominici is a crater on Mercury. Dominici’s bright rays indicate that it is relatively young, and the young rays appear light blue in enhanced-color images. Dominici also has bright material on its floor and is surrounded by crater ejecta and material that appears orange in enhanced color. These color differences, as in nearby Titian crater, suggest that the impact crater excavated material from beneath Mercury’s surface that differs in composition from the surrounding surface. Dominici lies within a much larger impact structure, the Homer basin.
Dominici is the band fronted by Charlie Dominici.

Captured! is a 1933 American Pre-Code film about World War I prisoners of war in a German camp. It stars Leslie Howard and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and was based on the short story "Fellow Prisoners" by Sir Philip Gibbs.
British Captain Fred Allison (Leslie Howard) bids farewell to his new wife, Monica (Margaret Lindsay), whom he has only known for six days, and sets out for the war. He ends up a prisoner of war (POW), tortured by the fact that his wife has not written to him since the early days of his two year captivity.
When a fellow inmate shoots a guard, the prisoners make an impromptu unsuccessful dash for freedom, resulting in much bloodshed on both sides. As punishment, they are locked in a crowded cell for about a month. Finally, a new commandant, Oberst Carl Ehrlich (Paul Lukas), takes charge of the camp. Allison persuades Ehrlich (a fellow Oxford alumnus) to rescind the punishment.
One day, a fresh batch of POWs arrives. Allison is delighted to find his oldest and best friend among them, Royal Flying Corps Lieutenant Jack http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/642/Captured-/ "Dig" Digby (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.). For some reason though, Dig is not as pleased to see him. However, Allison attributes that to their situation. Dig is determined to escape, regardless of the consequences to his fellow prisoners. He does manage to break free, stealing an airplane from the nearby airfield.

Corrupt politicians, purveyors of law
Give us daily bread, but not a crumb more
Premiers, Presidents and leaders of men
Fleece us like sheep again and again
All we can do is suffer the grief
And shake our heads in disbelief
A penny here, a dollar there
We’re nickel’d and dime’d into despair
If we should ever come on days
When all would start to change their ways
There’d still be some who would only see
A brand new opportunity
I’d go along and wag my tail
But still they’d throw me in their jail
I watch the news and wonder why
They never seem to catch that guy
He knows the game as well as I
And that is why he won’t be
Captured
Now religious leaders speak out
Offensive words cast shadows of doubt
Those who listened but still haven’t heard
Live by the sword but they’ll die by the word
I sit in my room of closed windows and doors
And ponder my fate as I stare at the floors
If I never let anyone get close to me
Then maybe I can still remain free
Not powdered wigs nor robes of silk
Can ever govern me
Lest I’d be captured
