The Lost Tapes – Rare Recordings 1991–2007 is a compilation album by Ooberman, released in September 2007 on the band's own Rotodisc label.
"Running in date order, most of the tracks were recovered and restored from old cassette and DAT tapes, many of which were thought to have been lost forever in a burglary. The earlier recordings chart Ooberman's pre-indie band days as home recordists when founders Dan Popplewell and Andy Flett would post cassettes and lengthy critiques back and forth between Liverpool and Birmingham. "Many tracks come from 1994, a big recording year for frontman Dan - he'd finished university, was on the dole with a lot of time on his hands and found himself with a bunch of new recording gear paid for by being a medical research guinea pig. Most music recorded before then was too rough for release, while the following years marked the beginnings of Ooberman's ascent to minor indie fame with most subsequent recordings therefore released on albums and B-sides."
The Lost Tapes is a compilation album by American rapper Nas. It was released on September 23, 2002, by Ill Will Records and Columbia Records, who wanted to capitalize on what was seen in hip hop music as Nas' artistic comeback the year before. The album compiles previously unreleased tracks that were discarded from recording sessions for Nas' previous studio albums, I Am... (1999) and Stillmatic (2001).
The songs on The Lost Tapes feature production by L.E.S., The Alchemist, Poke and Tone, and Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, among others. They feature low-key, sparse sounds and observational lyrics about urban life. Some of the songs are autobiographical and nostalgic, departing from the thug persona of Nas' previous albums.
Released with little promotion, The Lost Tapes debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, selling over 70,000 copies in its first week. It was met with widespread acclaim from music critics, some of whom viewed it as Nas' best record since his 1994 debut album Illmatic. A second volume of previously unreleased songs was planned before Nas had signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2006, but was delayed and eventually abandoned because of issues with his record label.
In God We Trust, Inc.: The Lost Tapes is VHS/DVD of the Dead Kennedys' first recording session of their EP, In God We Trust Inc.. It was released in July 2003. The session was filmed in June 1981 by Eric Goodfield for a part of a punk documentary he was making. When the DKs went to master the tape it started to peel and deteriorate, so they had to record it again (that session took place in August and was used for the EP). The tape was in Goodfield's collection until the DKs asked him if he would release the video as part of their 25th anniversary. It includes live versions of all the songs except "Hyperactive Child", for which no live footage could be found.
Lost Tapes is an American television horror series that aired on Animal Planet. Produced by Go Go Luckey Entertainment, the program presents found footage depicting traumatic encounters with cryptozoological creatures, including the Chupacabra and Bigfoot, and even supernatural creatures such as the Werewolf and Vampire, and extraterrestrials: Alien and Reptilian.
The pilot (Chupacabra) aired on Animal Planet October 30, 2008, for Halloween, but the series officially premiered on January 6, 2009. Animal Planet commissioned a second season, which premiered on September 29, 2009. Season 3 premiered on September 28, 2010, with episodes featuring zombies and the Kraken. The show also used to air on Planet Green.
Lost Tapes depicts traumatic scenarios where people are attacked and/or killed by mysterious, dangerous, deadly, savage, and ferocious paranormal wild cryptids. The series is shot in a mockumentary style. Most episodes begin with a quick introduction of facts, which include interviews with experts explaining scientific theories or facts and folklore behind the episode's titular creature. In the second season, some episodes began with footage of a person being attacked and often killed by the episode's creature, an introduction meant to set up the events of each episode. In the third season, every episode had such an introduction, though the events of every episode in all three seasons are accompanied by videos of scientists, cryptozoologists, and folklorists giving their thoughts and opinions of the creatures, which are called Lost Tapes: Revelations.
Tapes is a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, near to Porto Alegre. It is good for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing.
We forge our history through
Selfish Lust and Sinful schemes where
Buildings burn and children scream
echoing our soft defeat
It clutched me it takes control
Drowning out the life that's in this soul
sinking in to claim this flame
when the morning comes
we are the lost
We are the lost
we've lost control
no bridge to gap
just burn and go
no remorse for the past, it burns
no safety for this soul
It clutches me it take control
drowning out the life thats in this soul
sinking in to claim this flame
when the morning comes
We are the lost
It clutches me
it take control
Lost in in my insanity
lost the will to still believe
Sent by those who stood by me
proceed to constant misery
a fire burning through the night
illuminating the demise
and when the smoke clears
the world will be mine
It clutches me it take control
drowning out the life that's in this soul
sinking in to claim this flame
when the morning comes
