List of Muppets

The Muppets are a group of comedic puppet characters originally created by Jim Henson who have appeared in multiple television series and films since the 1950s. The majority of the characters listed here originated on The Muppet Show, a television series that aired from 1976 to 1981. Since then, several more characters have been introduced in other television series, as well as theatrical films.

The first Muppet characters appeared as early as 1955, in Sam and Friends, a Washington, D.C.-based show that was on the air for six years. Kermit the Frog was one of the show's regulars, and thus was one of Henson's first Muppet creations. The characters became a household name after their appearance in the children's television program Sesame Street. Henson was initially reluctant to become involved with Sesame Street because he feared being pigeon-holed as a children's performer, but agreed to work on the show to further his social goals. The characters created for that series are now owned by the Sesame Workshop, the producers of Sesame Street, and are now considered a separate franchise.

The ship was built by Krögerwerft GmbH in Rendsburg, Germany (West) in 1982. As the ship operated out of Finnish and Baltic ports in winter mainly without icebreaker assistance, it has the highest Finnish-Swedish ice class of 1A Super.

Kiss (Chara EP)

Kiss (キス Kisu) is the second EP released by Chara, which was released on September 24, 2008 (two months after her 12th original album, Honey). It was her first EP marketed as a mini-album as opposed to a single. It debuted at #30 on the Japanese Oricon album charts, and charted in the top 300 for six weeks.

The EP comprises three covers and two versions of one original song. Kieru (きえる Disappear) was used as the theme song for the film version of the novel Snakes and Earrings (蛇にピアス Hebi ni Piasu). The song Kiss is a different version of Kieru, featuring the same arrangement but different lyrics. The lyrics of both songs were written in collaboration with Snakes and Earrings author Hitomi Kanehara, with Kanehara primarily writing Kieru and Chara primarily writing Kiss.

The cover tracks are Tomorrow, a cover of the song from the 1977 musical Annie, Time After Time, a cover of the hit 1984 single by Cyndi Lauper and Ya Ya (Ano Toki o Wasurenai) (あの時代を忘れない I Won't Forget Those Times), a cover of Japanese rock band Southern All Stars' 1982 single. Tomorrow was used in Astellas Pharma commercials. Time After Time, a duet with Super Butter Dogs vocalist Hanaregumi, had already been released on the 2008 compilation album We Love Cyndi – Tribute to Cyndi Lauper released two months prior.
