Cabin Fever (Flying Burrito Brothers album)

Cabin Fever is a live album by the country rock group The Flying Burrito Brothers, released in 1985.

After John Beland and Gib Guilbeau brought the Burritos to a close in 1984, original member "Sneaky" Pete Kleinow took the opportunity to use the band's name in an effort to secure overseas club work. He re-formed the band with Skip Battin, Greg Harris and Jim Goodall, all of whom had toured with Kleinow as The Peace Seekers. The new band toured as the Flying Burrito Brothers beginning in February 1985. Cabin Fever was recorded by this incarnation of the band in the spring of 1985 to less than excited reviews.

Cabin Fever (2016 film)

Cabin Fever is a 2016 horror film directed by Travis Z. The film is a remake of the 2002 film Cabin Fever. The film stars Samuel Davis, Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Nadine Crocker and Dustin Ingram. The film was released on February 12, 2016 by IFC Midnight.

Plot

A group of college students on a weekend getaway in a remote cabin are exposed to a flesh eating virus.

Initally a fourth film, Cabin Fever: Outbreak, was planned with the story taking place on a cruise ship. The film was supposed to be filmed back to back with Cabin Fever: Patient Zero, but these plans eventually fell through. and the idea of a remake was formed.

The film is unique in that it uses the same script as Eli Roth's original, although director Zariwny trimmed the page count from 134 to only 92. Zariwny also discussed and incorporated aspects that Roth wanted to include in the original but wasn't able to. One notable change is that Deputy Winston, a male in the first film, is now played by a female. Zariwny claimed he made this choice because " There was no way for me to emulate Giuseppe’s performance" Shooting for the film took place in Portland, Oregon, in February 2015.

4 P.M. (For Positive Music) is an American male R&B group best known for their cover version of "Sukiyaki", which peaked at number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in February 1995.

4 P.M. is an acronym meaning 'For Positive Music' meaning the band's music would not contain explicit lyrics, does not promote violence, and does not degrade women. The band has toured worldwide and remains popular, most notably in Japan. The group was started in 1991 in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland by brothers Roberto Pena, Jr. and Reney (Ray) Pena with Larry McFarland and Martiz Ware. They were originally known as IV Real,and played local talent shows.

After a 1994 performance at a record release party, they were signed by Next Plateau Records and moved to New York City. Their debut album, Now's the Time, which peaked at #96 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, included a cover version of Kyu Sakamoto's 1960s hit "Sukiyaki". The group's version of "Sukiyaki" peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and was certified gold in 1995. It also reached the top 5 in Australia and New Zealand.Now's the Time earned gold status in Canada and Japan, and went platinum in Australia.

P.M. Dawn is an American hip hop act formed in 1988 by brothers Attrell Cordes (known by his stage name Prince Be, sometimes credited as Prince Be the Nocturnal) and Jarrett Cordes (known as DJ Minutemix) in Jersey City, New Jersey. They earned significant crossover success in the early 1990s with music that merged hip hop, older soul, and more pop-oriented urban R&B.

After recording their debut single "Ode to a Forgetful Mind" in 1988, P.M. Dawn released their first album Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross: The Utopian Experience in 1991 to critical acclaim.
