Arno Carstens
Arno Carstens (born 12 March 1972) is a South African singer-songwriter.
Career
Arno Carstens is an award-winning South African singer-songwriter and guitarist currently based between Cape Town and London.
During his career as the lead singer of rock band The Springbok Nude Girls, and subsequently as a solo artist, Arno has released 7 studio albums and had 18 top ten singles. He has won 5 South African Music Awards.
Arno has performed on the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, has appeared at Glastonbury, V Festival, T in the Park and Hard Rock Calling and has supported the likes of The Rolling Stones, Paul Weller, The Police, Celine Dion, Simple Minds, Ultravox and Meat Loaf on European tours. Arno features as lead vocalist and co-writer on three tracks on the Mike + The Mechanics 2011 album The Road.
Another Universe
Another Universe, Arno’s debut solo album, was released in 2003 and as one of the most anticipated solo projects in South African music history, did not disappoint, becoming the biggest selling South African English rock album this side of the millennium. The platinum selling album won a SAMA Award for Best Rock Album in 2004.
Ciney
Ciney (French pronunciation: [si.nɛ]) is a Walloon municipality located in the Belgian province of Namur. On January 1, 2006, Ciney had a total population of 14,958. The total area is 147.56 km² which gives a population density of 101 inhabitants per km².
The municipality consists of the following sub-municipalities: Achêne, Braibant, Chevetogne, Ciney, Conneux, Leignon, Pessoux, Serinchamps, and Sovet, along with a number of villages, including Chapois.
Several beers from the city are now brewed by Alken-Maes and still bear the name: Ciney Blonde, Ciney Brown, and Ciney Special. Those beers were first brewed in 1978.
The city was damaged by a heavy storm on 14 July 2010. The bell tower, the city's symbol and also Ciney's beer symbol, collapsed on its nave. Nobody was hurt, but reconstruction took more than a year and cost some million euros.

Cúan (died 752), was an Irish abbot who was the founder of many churches and monasteries in Ireland. He lived to nearly 100 years. Little is known about him, but he is mentioned in the Annals of Inisfallen as the abbot Liath Mo-Chaemóc. Saint Cúan is commemorated on January 1 by Western Rite Orthodox communities.

Comet Lulin (official designation C/2007 N3 (Lulin), Traditional Chinese:鹿林彗星) is a non-periodic comet. It was discovered by Ye Quanzhi and Lin Chi-Sheng from Lulin Observatory. It peaked in brightness and arrived at perigee for observers on Earth on February 24, 2009, at magnitude +5, and at 0.411 AU from Earth. The comet was near conjunction with Saturn on February 23, and passed near Regulus in the constellation of Leo on February 26 and 27, 2009. It was expected to pass near Comet Cardinal on May 12, 2009. The comet became visible to the naked eye from dark-sky sites around February 7. It passed near the double star Zubenelgenubi on February 6, near Spica on February 15 and 16, near Gamma Virginis on February 19 and near the star cluster M44 on March 5 and 6. It also passed near the planetary nebula NGC 2392 on March 14, and near the double star Wasat around March 17. According to NASA, Comet Lulin's green color comes from a combination of gases that make up its local atmosphere, primarily diatomic carbon, which appears as a green glow when illuminated by sunlight in the vacuum of space. When SWIFT observed comet Lulin on 28 January 2009, the comet was shedding nearly 800 gallons (approximately 3028 liters) of water each second. Comet Lulin was methanol-rich.
Arno Atoll
Arno Atoll (Marshallese: Arņo, [ɑ̯ɑɳˠːʌ͡ɔɔ̯]) is a coral atoll of 133 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and forms a legislative district of the Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands. Its total land area is only 5 square miles (13 km2). Unlike most other atolls, Arno encloses three different lagoons, a large central one, and two smaller ones in the north and east. Its main lagoon encloses an area of 130.77 square miles (338.7 km2). At a distance of only 20 kilometres (12 mi), it is the closest atoll to the Marshall Islands capital, Majuro Atoll, and can be seen looking east from Majuro on a clear day at low tide.
The population of Arno Atoll was 2,069 at the 1999 census. The most populous islets are Ajeltokrok, Kobjeltak, Rearlaplap, Langor and Tutu. The largest village is Ine, Arno.
People of Arno are well known for their productivity in making copra (the dried out meat of coconuts, from which coconut oil is extracted). Arno women are renowned for their production of the Kili Bag, a popular handwoven handbag/purse, named after another island in the Marshall Islands (to which the people of Bikini were eventually relocated as a result of the US nuclear tests that were conducted on their home atoll). Arno supposedly had a traditional "love school".

Arno (typeface)
Arno is a serif type family created by Robert Slimbach at Adobe intended for professional use. The name refers to the river that runs through Florence, a centre of the Italian Renaissance. Arno is an old-style serif font, drawing inspiration from a variety of 15th and 16th century typefaces. Slimbach has described the design as a combination of the period's Aldine and Venetian styles, with italics inspired by the calligraphy and printing of Ludovico degli Arrighi.
Arno was released in five optical sizes: separate fonts for different text sizes from captions to headings. In addition, Arno contains alternate letter styles such as swash italics inspired by Renaissance calligraphy. Other supported OpenType features include proportional and tabular numbers, old style figures, subscripts and superscripts, and ordinals.
One of the most complete serif font families ever designed, Arno supports Adobe CE, Adobe Western 2, Cyrillic, mono- and polytonic Greek, Latin Extended and Vietnamese character sets with small caps, as well as dingbat and fleuron characters inspired by early printing.
