Cifal (meaning the biggest, most senior head, chief or director in Volapük; itself coming from English ˝chief˝) is the leader of the Volapük movement. The first cifal was Johann Martin Schleyer until 1889 when he dismissed the entire Academy of Volapük, and the Academy dismissed Schleyer as the cifal and the movement divided between the followers of the cifal and of the Academy. Schleyer, who also held the title of datuval (meaning ˝the great discoverer˝ in Volapük) lived until 1912 but before his death left the title to Albert Sleumer who, in 1934, codified the rights and obligations of the cifal.
Typically, cifal decides on matters of grammar and vocabulary.
The list of cifals is:
This is the Index of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition monsters, an important element of that role-playing game. This list only includes monsters from official Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition supplements published by TSR, Inc. or Wizards of the Coast, not licensed or unlicensed third party products such as video games or unlicensed Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition manuals.
This was the initial monster book for the first edition of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game, published in 1977. Gary Gygax wrote much of the work himself, having included and expanded most of the monsters from the previous D&D supplements. Also included are monsters originally printed in The Strategic Review, as well as some originally found in early issues of The Dragon (such as the anhkheg and remorhaz), and other early game materials. This book also expanded on the original monster format, such as including the stat lines on the same page as the monsters' descriptions and introducing more stats, expanding the length of most monster descriptions, and featuring illustrations for most of the monsters. The book features an alphabetical table of contents of all the monsters on pages 3–4, explanatory notes for the statistics lines on pages 5–6, descriptions of the monsters on pages 6–103, a treasure chart on page 105, and an index of major listings on pages 106-109.
The CIFAL Global Network is part of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The Network comprises 15 International Training Centres (CIFALs) and aims to serve as a platform for capacity-building of government authorities and civil society leaders on topics related to sustainable development, as well as on global mandates and goals of the United Nations. Since its inception in 2003, the Network has trained more than 60,000 beneficiaries through over 600 training and knowledge-sharing events (as of December 2015). It reached more than 10,000 beneficiaries from 75 countries in 2015.
The acronym CIFAL stands for "International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders" (French: ‘Centre international de formation des autorités et leaders’ or in Spanish: ‘Centro Internacional de Formación para Autoridades y Lideres’).[1] Each CIFAL Centre is a hub for capacity building and knowledge sharing between local and regional authorities, national governments, international organisations, the private sector, and civil society. It is an important resource in the United Nations long-term efforts towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
If I lost you
If you only knew
That I would miss you
Like the stars above
If you needed me
You know I'll be right here
'Cause you can count on me
Like the air you breathe
Just keep holding on
You are the
Wonder of my world
I'm somehow lost for words
You are the the life
Within my veins
My love for you remains
In my heart
You are my world
You are my world
When I think of you
Everything
We've been through
There's so much to see
Don't give up on me
Just keep holding on
You are the
Wonder of my world
I'm somehow lost for words
You are the the life
Within my veins
My love for you remains
In my heart
You are my world
You are my world
Never thought
We'd come this far
You know there's
A place for us
All this time
I've seen you you try
So just keep holding on
'Cause you are the
Wonder of my world
I'm somehow lost for words
You are the the life
Within my veins
My love for you remains
In my heart
You are my world
