CFXE-FM (94.3 FM, "The EAGLE") is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts classic hits from studios in Edson, Alberta. It is owned by Newcap Broadcasting. This facility is the regional hub for NewCap Alberta (see below).

The station has three rebroadcasters in northwestern Alberta: CFXH-FM in Hinton, CFXP-FM in Jasper, and CFXG in Grande Cache. Additionally, CKBA in Athabasca, CFOK in Westlock, CHSL in Slave Lake and CKVH in High Prairie also simulcast some of CFXE's programming, while originating some programming locally as well. All broadcast "Classic Hits" formats, and are all owned by Newcap Broadcasting.

• CFXE started on April 4, 1968 as CJYR on 970 kHz, with 10,000 watts power.
• In 2005, the station was bought by Newcap Broadcasting and was relaunched as "The FOX".
• In 2007, the station was moved to 94.3 MHz with 11,000 watts power.^[1]
• In 2010, the station was re-branded as "The EAGLE".
• On September 29, 2010, the station received CRTC approval to move CFXE-FM's rebroadcast transmitter, CFXG AM Grande Cache to the FM dial.^[2]
