Christian electronic dance music, often shortened to CEDM, is a genre of Christian music. There are generally two styles of CEDM, Christian electronic and Christian dubstep.
Bryson Price is one of the main Christian dubstep figures. He is heavily influenced by Skrillex. Other artists have entered the subgenre too, such as Transform DJs, Re5a, Matthew Parker, Oiwolf, Tony Foxx, DJ Flubbel and more.
Christian electronic artists such as Capital Kings, Owl City and Kye Kye have more of a pop sound. A significant number of artists from this genre tend not to take kindly to the Christian music label, similar to notable rappers Andy Mineo and Lecrae.
Capital King's debut album was highly praised for its upbeat style. Their album impacted the Christian music culture so much that now many artists have created CEDM songs, including Mandisa (with "Overcomer" and "Joy Unspeakable") and tobyMac (with "Me Without You", "Mac Daddy" and "Unstoppable").
I'm just a prowling maverick
And detriment to health
Cutthroat competition
Desultory to myself
Scary vulgarism
Unfathomable cursed
Perpetuate my memories
Incombustible words
Addicted to abstinence
Protruberant intestines
Exhilerated sight
Notorious dinginess
Coming from behind
I put you to the sword
Gasp your vomit out
You'll never reach the shore
Defigured like a scrag
Scary vulgarism
Unfathomable cursed
Perpetuate my memories
Incombustible words
Addicted to abstinence
Protruberant intestines
Exhilerated sight
Notorious dinginess
Coming from behind
I put you to the sword
Gasp your vomit out
You'll never reach the shore
Defigured like a scrag
Scary vulgarism
Unfathomable cursed
Perpetuate my memories
Incombustible words
Heinous and destructive
Balanced on the edge
Rancerously cutting
He's dangerous and sledge
