BYD could refer to:
BYD Co Ltd is a Chinese manufacturer of automobiles and rechargeable batteries with its corporate headquarters in Shenzhen. It has two major subsidiaries, BYD Automobile and BYD Electronic.
Hailed for its innovations, BYD has grown to become a major manufacturer of rechargeable batteries, most notably mobile phone batteries.
BYD topped the 2010 Bloomberg Businessweek Tech 100 list, a list of large, fast-growing tech companies.
The name BYD is an acronym derived from the phrase "build your dreams".
Founded in the February 1995 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 31, 2002, BYD Co Ltd began as a rechargeable-battery factory competing in the Chinese market against Japanese imports.
BYD grew quickly; within ten years capturing more than half the world's mobile-phone battery market and becoming the largest Chinese manufacturer (and in the top four worldwide) of all types of rechargeable batteries. Replacing work done by machines with cheap, local labor lowered costs, and the company began expanding beyond batteries, adding automobiles and mobile phone components.

Skipper Roberts was a doll created by Mattel in 1964 to be Barbie's younger sister, as well as to oppose controversies directed at Barbie. Since Skipper was introduced, she has changed immensely. When she first came out, she was 9.25 inches in height (compared to Barbie's 11.5 inches), and then as newer versions were released she gradually became taller with an older appearance, eventually turning out to be almost as tall as Barbie. At first, Skipper was available with three different hair colors, but is currently only available with her hair colored black and purple. Usually, Skipper dolls had blue eyes.
The doll appeared as a character in several Random House novels and Marvel Comics. A fictional biography was developed for her from these, as well as from the backs of the boxes which held the dolls that were sold. Several celebrity and fantasy dolls were produced at the Skipper size, most recently a pair of twin dolls from the Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses line.
Watch the broken common man
Drown his sorrows at unhappy hour
Dirty and sweaty with just enough to get by
Calluses on his hands, calluses on his soul
Hard-boiled, son of a bitch
Scraping away on the down hill grind
It's a means to an end, a mean end for most
Death and domestication ends in shattered hopes
Can't see the hand at the other end of the leash
Turn and bite, turn and bite the hand that bleeds you dry
Throw yourself a bone, no one else will
Compromise leads to self-loathing
Money the excrement of labor
And you don't get to keep shit
Except politics and power trips
And a bad breath down your neck
I know for I have toiled in the halls of the mighty
And not received a teardrop in a bucket
Motherfuck it
The world doesn't owe me a thing
But you do, motherfucker
The world doesn't owe me a thing
But you do, motherfucker
So crooked when you die
They're gonna have to screw your ass
Into the ground
As life slowly unravels with nothing to show
But your wasted time and dust
A thousand points of lies falling
On the deafened funeral eardrums of the blind masses
Rise above, extract your life
Will you look within then turn around and bite?
Day by day the mask suffocates your life
