In pragmatics, the origo is the reference point on which deictic relationships are based.
In most deictic systems, the origo identifies with the current speaker (or some property thereof). For instance, if the speaker, John, were to say "This is now my fish", then John would be the origo, and the deictic word "my" would be dependent on that fact. Likewise, his use of the word "this" and "now" communicate his properties, namely his location and point in time.
The word origo comes from Latin origo (pronounced /ɒˈriːɡɒ/), which means "origin" (pl. origines, /ɒˈriːɡɪnɛs/). Origo is also the root for the English word "origin".
This word also occurs in the term phrase fons et origo, meaning "source and origin" (fons, "source", et, "and", "even").
Parastenolechia is a genus of moth in the family Gelechiidae.
Origo is the fourth full length album by Swedish progressive metal band Burst, released on October 17, 2005 by Relapse Records. Overall, it has received widespread critical acclaim, from magazines such as Kerrang! and Rock Sound.
Aaron Burgess, writing for Alternative Press describes the album as "a blistering epic, complete with keyboards, acoustic passages and female backing vocals in tow". He continues to add that "Burst sound ready to, well, burst out of obscurity and into the genre-shattering realm of fellow post-metal masters Isis, Neurosis and Cult Of Luna." Speaking on the album's sound, he states that "[t]hough frontman Linus Jägerskog's shearing vocals are terminally locked on overdrive, the rest of Origo is a sweeping, time-shifting exploration of dynamics, moods and tonal color--and while "beautiful" isn't usually the sort of adjective we like to throw at a metal record, in this case, it's the rule, not the exception.".
The song "Where the Wave Broke" is about Mieszko Talarczyk, the leader of now defunct and fellow Swedish grindcore band Nasum, who died in the tsunami which hit Thailand on December 26, 2004. Jesper Liveröd was the bassist of Nasum for most of their career.

Burst was a progressive metal band from Kristinehamn, Sweden. They were formed in 1993 by Jesper Liveröd, Linus Jägerskog and Patrik Hultin. Guitarists Robert Reinholdz and Jonas Rydberg joined the band a bit later. According to their label, they are considered to be one of Sweden's brightest metal prospects.
The band was known to add progressive elements to their metal music making them different from most of the other metalcore bands. Their vocals were a mixture of melodic vocals (Reinholdz) and screaming (Jägerskog). They were last signed to Relapse Records.
Burst were formed by a couple of friends for no real intention but to just make fast paced, heavy music. They were initially called Dislars. Their older music was more grindcore and crust punk oriented. They played a few live shows across Sweden. They later started playing a brutal style of hardcore punk. The more they improved their playing skills, the band shifted towards a more progressive style while still sticking to their Hardcore roots. They later decided on the name Burst. The band then began to take their music more seriously and decided to record demos. During this period they toured heavily. They eventually inked a deal with Melon Records. Their first two studio albums were released there. However, the band was not satisfied with the results and began to add more changes to their music. They released a few EPs after this.
Burst is an EP released by Swedish progressive metal band Burst. The EP was self-released by Burst and recorded at Studio Zalt in March 1995 in Kristinehamn, Sweden.
There is a place where hindrance is dead
Visions gone wild in a burning red
Dream my friend
Ever in rest
With your head in your hands
And your gaze fixed firmly ahead
We are safe here
A black winged angel watching over you
And you dream
And I pretend
Sleep is all I ask
Rest from all these bitter ends
I've found a place where I won't be missed
Steering clear from those jaded eyes
I've murdered apathetic
Your numb sense becoming my fix
And I dream
Far away from these tortured lands
Cast away
Spewing out the bile
Purge me of the vile
Home
Home
It's there
I want you to see
