"Burn It Up" is fourth official single by American R&B singer-songwriter R. Kelly from the album TP.3 Reloaded, released in April 2006, by Jive Records. It features Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, and was produced by Luny Tunes and Nely "El Arma Secreta" with co-production by R. Kelly.

Song information

The official remix features a verse by rapper Fat Joe in the beginning and it is featured in R. Kelly's album Remix City Vol. 1. The beat was reused for a track titled "Mírame" by Daddy Yankee & Deevani in the compilation album Mas Flow 2, which was also produced by Luny Tunes and Nely.

Too Legit to Quit

Too Legit To Quit is Hammer's fourth record and third official full-length studio album, released on October 29, 1991. While the album wasn't as successful as Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em, it nevertheless proved successful, peaking in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, as well as going triple platinum.

A video for the title song was also produced, featuring many celebrity appearances. It was ranked one of the most expensive videos ever produced. Music videos were produced for all four tracks listed below with related articles. Each single released also charted.

A compilation of music videos from this album were released on VHS (1992) and DVD (2002) called M.C. Hammer: 2 Legit - The Videos (102 minutes).

Promotion and reception

After dropping the "M.C." from his stage name, Hammer released this album (also produced by Felton Pilate), answering his critics within certain songs from the album. Sales were strong (over five million copies) with the title track being the biggest hit. Another hit came soon after, with "Addams Groove" (which appeared on both The Addams Family motion picture soundtrack and the vinyl and cassette versions of 2 Legit 2 Quit), which reached No. 7 in the U.S. and No. 4 in the UK. His video for the song appeared after the movie.

About

The series followed Carl, Andy and Jon as three self-proclaimed Generation X-ers going through life without any real responsibilities to worry them. However, whilst this was understandable in the Madchester era of the late 1980s, is it acceptable now as they approach thirty? When does the party end?

To a soundtrack of North West England bands and musicians, including New Order, The Stone Roses and The Charlatans to name but a few, the show displayed a lazy world of drinking, drug consumption, and casual sex. However, the show was careful to show the consequences of such lifestyle choices and searingly touched on suicide, unwanted pregnancies, apathy and disillusionment.

According to Red Production Company a DVD release is not possible due to difficulty in clearing copyrights for music used.

Broadcast History

Burn It was first shown on the free-to-air British digital channel BBC Three, and then repeated some months later on the terrestrial channel BBC2. There were two series of Burn It: series one consisted of ten approximately 30-minute episodes and ran from 9 February 2003 to 8 April 2003; the second series spanned eleven episodes and ran from 8 September 2003 to 10 November 2003.

Burn It!

Burn It! is the third studio album by English band Modern Romance. It was released in 1985 on LP and Cassette tape by RCA and has not since been reissued. Although the record sleeve states the LP was released in 1985, the label on the actual LP is dated 1984. Furthermore, the label states the LP title as Move On.
