Burlington, Maine
Burlington is a town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is part of the Bangor Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 363 at the 2010 census.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 56.25 square miles (145.69 km2), of which, 54.01 square miles (139.89 km2) of it is land and 2.24 square miles (5.80 km2) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 363 people, 166 households, and 106 families residing in the town. The population density was 6.7 inhabitants per square mile (2.6/km2). There were 410 housing units at an average density of 7.6 per square mile (2.9/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 99.4% White, 0.3% Asian, and 0.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.3% of the population.
There were 166 households of which 19.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.8% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 36.1% were non-families. 28.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 15% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.19 and the average family size was 2.61.
