  • Wabbit (TV series)

Wabbit (stylized as wabbit. and known also as bugs! in parts of Europe) is an American animated television series from Warner Bros. Animation. It premiered on September 21, 2015, on Cartoon Network, and later premiered on October 5, 2015, on Boomerang.

    Plot

In this series, the Looney Tunes return to their slapstick-comedy roots. Each episode of Wabbit contains two shorts, starring Bugs Bunny as the main character.

Other characters, such as Wile E. Coyote and Yosemite Sam, show up to annoy him. Some characters are given new traits: Wile E. Coyote, for example, is Bugs' smart-aleck neighbor while the Tasmanian Devil (renamed "Theodore Tasmanian") is employed as an accountant, though he represses his true self.

Added in are new characters who come to befriend Bugs, like Squeaks the Squirrel and a childlike version of Bigfoot.

Likewise, Bugs faces new villains, but not without the help of his friends. Bugs faces off against ninjas, barbarians, terminators, and even a rabbit version of the Grim Reaper named Carl the Grim Rabbit.

    Supernatural (season 1)

Season one of Supernatural, an American television series created by Eric Kripke, premiered on September 13, 2005, and concluded on May 4, 2006 after 22 episodes. It focuses on brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they track down their father, John, who is on the trail of the demon who killed their mother and Sam's girlfriend. During their travels, they use their father's journal to help them carry on the family business—saving people and hunting supernatural creatures. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles star as Sam and Dean, with Jeffrey Dean Morgan recurring as their father, John, and Nicki Aycox as the demonic Meg Masters. This is the only season to air on The WB Television Network, with all subsequent seasons airing on The CW Television Network, a joint venture of The WB and UPN.

The first sixteen episodes of the season aired on Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET in the United States, after which the series was rescheduled to Thursdays. Overall, the season averaged about 3.81 million American viewers. The season gained many award nominations, among them two Primetime Emmy Awards for work done on the pilot episode. While some critics did not like the mostly anthology-like format, others praised the show for the emotional moments and noted the brotherly chemistry between the lead actors.

    Vitalogy

Vitalogy is the third studio album by the American rock band Pearl Jam, released on November 22, 1994, through Epic Records. Pearl Jam wrote and recorded Vitalogy while touring behind its previous album Vs. (1993). The music on the record was more diverse than previous releases, and consists of aggressive rock songs, ballads and other elements making this Pearl Jam's first experimental album.

The album was first released on vinyl, followed by a release on CD and cassette two weeks later on December 6, 1994. The LP sold 34,000 copies in its first week of release, and until Jack White's 2014 album Lazaretto it held the record for most vinyl sales in one week since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. Upon its CD release, Vitalogy became the second-fastest selling album in history, only behind the band's previous release Vs., selling 877,000 copies in its first week. The album has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA in the United States.

    Recording

For its third album, Pearl Jam again worked with producer Brendan O'Brien. The band wrote many of the songs during soundchecks on its Vs. Tour and the majority of the album's tracks were recorded during breaks on the tour. The first session took place late in 1993 in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the band recorded "Tremor Christ" and "Nothingman". The rest of the material was written and recorded in 1994 in sessions in Seattle, Washington and Atlanta, Georgia, with the band finishing the album at Bad Animals Studio in Seattle after the tour's completion. "Immortality" was written in April 1994 when the band was on tour in Atlanta. Sources state that most of the album was completed by early 1994, but that either a forced delay by Epic, or the band's battle with ticket vendor Ticketmaster, were to blame for the delay.

Got a pollywog in your water
    Tadpole in the moonshine vat
An' granddaddy-long-leg climbing on the screen
You better watch, you're gonna squash him flat
    Boll weevils in your cotton
And dirt-dauber busy building a nest
The red wasp's gonna swoop down and get ya child
Won't give you a minutes rest
    (she's talkin 'bout)
Bugs! Everywhere you look there's another kind of bug
Makes you want to get a club and clout'em
Yes everybody's talking bout the worrysome bugs
But ain't nobody doing nothing about 'em
Shooing the flies away from the table
    Hiding under the quilting bed
The chiggers running wild in the blackberry bush
Yellow jackets swarmin' round your head
They're coming to get your watermelon
Black ants marching in a long line
They're lurking in the leaves of the strawberry patch
And climbing up the tomato vine
    (she gonna tell you about)
    Bugs!
Bugs! Everywhere you look there's another type of bug
But if ya live in the delta ya got 'em
