Budalin
Budalin is a town in Budalin Township, Monywa District, Sagaing Division in Burma (Myanmar). It is the administrative seat of Budalin Township. The town is connected by road and rail to Monywa, Dabayin, Kin-U and Ye-U, with a bridge over the Mu River.
Budalin is famous for its 'Twintaung',an extinct volcano. The great soldier Maha Bandoola was born in Budalin.The famous politist and writer Thein Pe Myint, The great Buddhist Monk Nyaunggan Sayardaw Boat are from Budalin. There are three quarters in Budalin.They are Myawaddy, Bandula and KhoneMinGyi . There is a big lake in the middle of the town. YanAungMyin Pagoda is the biggest one of the town.There are over 156 villages in Budalin township.
