Brusly, Louisiana
Brusly is a town in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 2,589 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area.
History
The town was established in 1901. Brusly High School serves the area's secondary education needs. The school's nickname is Panthers. Its colors are red and white and black. Historic Cinclare Sugar Mill is located on LA Highway 1.
Geography
Brusly is located at 30°23′26″N 91°14′30″W / 30.39056°N 91.24167°W / 30.39056; -91.24167 (30.390470, -91.241797).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all of it land.

The racial makeup of the town was 72.77% Caucasian, 25.74% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.15% Asian, 0.15% Pacific Islander, 0.25% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.89% of the population.
