Space is a three-dimensional framework in which we can sense direction and quantify distances between objects or points.
Space, spacing or the space may also refer to:
The Space is an all-ages multicultural music and arts venue in Hamden, Connecticut, a suburb of New Haven. It mostly features local and regional music, mostly of the folk and rock genres, but also hosts poetry nights, open-mics and other types of performances. It is staffed completely by volunteers and is alcohol free, instead offering over 100 kinds of tea. In addition to the urbane music scene, The Space also is a museum of sorts for 1970s/1980s oddities and collectibles and this decor is one of its hallmarks.
The Space was founded by Steve Rodgers of the band Mighty Purple in 2003. As more musicians began to use The Space to rehearse, an open-mic was organized. As it evolved more into a public venue, it was designed to represent features of small venues around the country, featuring couches and other living room-style seating. Rodgers moved it from an informal performance and rehearsal area in a basement to its current, 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) location in 2003.

"Brothers" is the 15th episode from the dramedy series Ugly Betty, which aired on February 8, 2007.
In the three days since the bombshell at Fashion Week, Alexis Meade's shocking announcement has left MODE in chaos and the dysfunctional Meade family at each other’s throats.
As the day begins, Betty has to explain to a curious Ignacio about the difference between a Transvestite and Transsexual after he comments on how small Alexis' hands are. This is followed by Betty finally meeting Alexis in the elevator at work, where after Betty gives her a full 'look over' Alexis tells her that she had everything done...and that despite a rumor mentioned on Fashion TV, no she did not keep 'it' in a jar.
As Betty tries to talk to Daniel about Alexis, she gets no comment from him; all he wants to do is focus on MODE's upcoming swimwear issue. But as he begins the staff-only meeting Alexis shows up to make massive changes, by firing Daniel and placing Wilhelmina in charge of MODE as the new editor-in-chief. Daniel tells Betty that they aren't going anywhere; he has an injunction because Alexis had a sex-change, and therefore cannot take over Meade Publications since Alexander Spencer Meade is legally dead. And to make matters worse, Claire is excited to see her son-turned-daughter back, which is not sitting well with Daniel, thus prompting Betty to step in by taking Daniel's mother to a spa to calm things down and try to find out about how to squash the Meade squabble, and keep an eye on Claire in case she has a nervous breakdown.
"Brothers" is a science fiction short story by Gordon R. Dickson. It was first published in Astounding: The John W Campbell Memorial Anthology.
The story forms a part of the incomplete Dorsai cycle.
The story is set in the city of Blauvain, capital of the planet St Marie. It is narrated by Tomas Velt, Blauvain Police Commissioner.
After the defeat of invading soldiers from the Friendly worlds, Field Commander Kensie Graeme of the Expeditionary force of Dorsai mercenaries is assassinated by unseen members of an illegal political organisation called the Blue Front. Commander Ian Graeme decides that they are still engaged with an enemy, declares martial law in Blauvain and gives orders that all houses in the city be searched by soldiers under his command.
Whilst Velt and his police more-or-less ineffectually assist the Dorsai, he also strives to find a way to avoid the search, which could easily result in the deaths of citizens who resist the soldiers. He gets no assistance from the Exotic Padma, whose philosophy does not allow him to interfere in any way, but Padma does believe that somehow Velt is a pivotal character in resolving the situation.
Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and direction. Physical space is often conceived in three linear dimensions, although modern physicists usually consider it, with time, to be part of a boundless four-dimensional continuum known as spacetime. The concept of space is considered to be of fundamental importance to an understanding of the physical universe. However, disagreement continues between philosophers over whether it is itself an entity, a relationship between entities, or part of a conceptual framework.
Track 9 of _Season's End_
On top of the world like a flag on a mountain
Feeling so high you can feel so alone
Unable to breathe at the height that you flew
Staring on clouds with no view of below
On top of a girl like a dream in a hotel
Falling towards something out of control
Unable to miss like the man in the tram
Crashing his car in Amsterdam
He did it without knowing
Didn't feel a thing
Just wrecked it and kept going
The space around the stars
Is something that you know
A billion miles of darkness
Left you feeling low
Everything about you
So perfectly restrained
But everything inside you
Bites you
Everybody in the whole of the world
Feels the same inside
Everybody in the whole of the whole of the whole of the world
Everyone is only everyone else
Everybody's got to know
Everybody lives and loves and laughs and cries
And eats and sleeps and grows and dies
