Broken heart
A broken heart (also known as a heartbreak or heartache) is a common metaphor for the intense emotional—and sometimes physical—stress or pain one feels at experiencing great longing. The concept is cross-cultural; most often, though not exclusively, cited with reference to a desired or lost lover; and dates back at least 3,000 years.
Emotional pain that is severe can cause 'broken heart syndrome', including physical damage to the heart.
Physiology
The emotional "pain" of a broken heart is believed to be part of the survival instinct. The "social-attachment system" uses the "pain system" to encourage humans to maintain their close social relationships by causing pain when those relationships are lost. Psychologists Geoff MacDonald of the University of Queensland and Mark Leary of Wake Forest University proposed in 2005 the evolution of common mechanisms for both physical and emotional pain responses and argue that such expressions are "more than just a metaphor". The concept is believed to be universal, with many cultures using the same words to describe both physical pain and the feelings associated with relationship loss.
Broken Hearts (Homeland)
"Broken Hearts" is the tenth episode of the second season of the American television drama series Homeland, and the 22nd episode overall. It originally aired on Showtime on December 2, 2012.
Plot
Saul (Mandy Patinkin) talks with Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) at a local diner. Adal confirms that Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) is one of his men on loan to Estes, but for what purpose, he claims not to know. Later, at Langley, Saul confronts Estes (David Harewood) regarding why Quinn is involved in the operation. Estes becomes furious when Saul implies that Quinn was brought in to kill Brody to cover up Estes' complicity in the drone strike that killed Abu Nazir's (Navid Negahban) son Issa. Quinn approaches them, reporting that Carrie (Claire Danes) was in a car accident and is now missing. Saul heads to the accident scene. While he's gone, Estes tells Quinn "he knows."
At the safehouse, Jessica (Morena Baccarin) and Mike (Diego Klattenhoff) reminisce about sleeping together the previous night. They begin kissing, but stop when they hear Brody (Damian Lewis) at the door. Brody receives a call from Nazir, who has taken Carrie hostage in an abandoned mill. He rebukes Brody for betraying him and threatens to kill Carrie unless Brody carries out a task for him. He orders Brody to enter Vice President Walden's (Jamey Sheridan) home office at the Naval Observatory and retrieve a serial number that corresponds to Walden's pacemaker. He explains that he will be able to use the serial number to manipulate the pacemaker wirelessly.
Wise (rapper)
Seiji Kameyama (亀山晴児, Kameyama Seiji, born on August 10, 1979), better known by his stage name Wise, is a Japanese hip hop recording artist who raps in both Japanese and English. His father is Japanese and his mother is American and during high school he lived in the United States. He is affiliated with the creative group Kazenohito. In 2005, he formed the group Wise'N'SonPub with beatmaker SonPub, and the group Teriyaki Boyz with Ryo-Z, Ilmari (from RIP SLYME) and Verbal (from M-Flo). He made his major debut as a solo artist with the single "Shine Like A Star" on February 21, 2007.

Wise (Edain)
In J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, some of the Men of the First Age were counted the Wise. They possessed a great knowledge of lore and traditions of their people, especially concerning their ancient days.
